European peace and neutrality

Let's glorify European peace and neutrality!
European neutrality is especially beautiful in those moments when someone in the neighborhood starts to get killed, and this someone starts to call loudly for help! At this awkward moment, there is nothing more beautiful than moving to a safe distance and answering from there, from a distance: How rude, how unaesthetic, especially this annoying cry for help... And how good it is that what is happening has absolutely nothing to do with us -good old Europe! Especially if you take a few more steps and distract yourself with something pleasant so as not to feel stressed.Like chocolate, classical music... some gas contracts... football ... Earplugs are also good so that the sounds of the massacre do not interfere with the buffet in honor of European integration.
This is what neutrality looks like .
And a little later (when the ones who were killed go from shouting to “answering”), then the time of European peace comes.
Because -... well, how is that possible! We must stop the bloodshed immediately! We are, kind of humanists. The civilian population is suffering. We demand the immediate start of multilateral negotiations with the participation of Hamas, Strelkov-Girkin and the legally elected leaders of the Hutu tribe, who have just, with complete European neutrality, slaughtered a million of Tutsis.
We must quickly transfer the conflict to the diplomatic plane! Otherwise blood will be shed! And we are kind of against bloodshed. We are Europeans... Locke, Montesquieu, Rousseau... it’s cold in winter, we still need gas... So we need to negotiate!
And, in principle, why not negotiate? So Hitler was quite tolerant as long as he limited himself to the Czechs... Ask Chamberlain.
In short: European neutrality and peacefulness! The main thing is not to confuse the order of words...

Another near Trillion EU bailout...

...by the industrious and frugal EU North, for the EU South. Lots of fake kind words, VERY fake, all around, on how well the South will make use of the dough. How deserving they are. And how their latest promises to get their economic houses in order are rock solid. As if.
The dole is the dole, by any other name. We call the mess here "welfare". Never has fared well.
A check on the sad facts of how many Southern EU economies are mis-run is revealing. Uncollected taxes, VERY uncollected, corruption at many levels, huge public sector do littlle "work"-forces, with generous benefits, unsustainable pensions and the near impossibility of sacking anyone. All neatly over- administered, VERY over, at nearly each level of inefficient government. Did I forget to mention earlier ages of full pension retirement?Silly me.
The EU public sector unions, with well heeled administrations, make our USA corrupt Democrat run teachers' unions (anti- learning/-anti children, the lot) look like amateurs by comparison.
Apparently, it took nearly four full days of contentious kvetching, some 96 hours of all day and all night sessions. The South pushed hard for no reforms, and for all in grants, rather than in loans. Imagine that? And in the end it was closer to 50:50. There were few reforms. As if.
So, in less than a decade, the South largely will not have repaid a Groschen, and reforms, such as they are, will be relaxed. Plus cela change, plus c'est la meme chose.
But as bad a deal as this might be for Europe, it pales in comparison to the financial mess we'll be in here in the USA, if frontal lobe release Joe Biden is elected, as unlikely as this is beginning to look.
Let's hear from all the CS Communists/Socialists/Sandersistas, on how they see things. Let the hate speech and words fly, as always. Perhaps a bit of creative bullying as well.

The many troubles in the PRC....

...sure, they will soon lack drinking water, and that nervous one party state, and control by party elites, augers less than ideal for the long term. Hong Kong and Taiwan. Much more to be concerned about, in the general neighborhood as well, as we see in the South China Seas. But the changes from failed attempts at communism, to China's form of free market economies, bring with them troubling demographic shifts as wel. Wealthy, entrepreneurial business women, now in their 40's and 50's, with vanishing chances for marriage and children, and enormous family and cultural pressures for both, to name just one. Slight modifications of the one child policies, might help. But real political freedom ain't too shabby either.
