Roger Michell’s 2003 British film ‘The Mother’ based on a work of Hanif Kureishi ,is the story of May (Anne Reid),who, feeling lost and unwanted, seeks refuge in a friendship with the much younger Darren (Daniel Craig),her daughter’s boy friend. when this friendship turns into a torrid s*xual relationship, all the barely concealed hatreds and resentments in the family come out fighting. The Mother' is a drama of family breakdown and domestic alienation, full of ghastly people and loveless liaisons. May, really quite wonderfully portrayed by Anne Reid, is a virtual saint compared to the selfish monsters that surround her.

I love the fresh air the cool summer nights by the channel watching the sun set. Not a city boy friends,family,and the peace of the great outdoors. the best thing in life are free just as god created them to be.

No doubt,the most talked about and written about aspect of humankind is sexuality.Does libido wane with age? Not always.Though not critically acclaimed and belonging to pulp fiction category,I found 'Overload' by Arthur Hailey,interesting ,since it portrays how mysterious libido can be.What puzzled me most about the main charecter is that, almost all the women happened to be in contact with him, craved to be laid by him. It is more than two decades since I read the novel, and I do not remember properly the characters or the situations. As I remember, his boss’s wife had no qualms to seduce him even before recovering from the shock of her husband’s death. So were his close friend’s wife and her sister! For a paraplegic, he was like a heaven sent man to give vent to her pent up passions! The book ends with the suggestion of the woman journalist who was after his blood throughout the story, looking forward to bed with him!
