I would rather be with someone who truly loves me, than one that's in love with me. Of course, both is better, but if I had to choose one .....

Yes, funningly enough there is a difference. I was a member of a Biker Club (the police called us outlaws!) and I loved each and every guy in that Club, but I wasn't in love with them 'that way'!

But that is an extreme I guess.

That sounds like a very suspect "club" to me.

Acting all tuff and bad just so you can get chased by men in uniform with 10" sticks.

I'll bet that was what it was all about !!

No...not such an extreme, we all have friends, both male & female that we love, but not in "that way".

In a relationship I think it depends on how important passion is over love and companionship and if both parties are happy in a loving relationship over a passionate one then why wouldn't it be fair to stay together?

Word games in a relationship usually suggest something is missing. Sounds like your love is not reciprocated.

I was thinking along similar lines. I love each of my family members (sister, bother, etc.), but I am not IN LOVE with them. I would still like to have a relationship though. hug
