Let's pause for a moment. shall we, please? Now let's say, there is no islam in this world, nor is there any muslim. Now let's ask ourselves a few questions. will all the killings, violence, and hatred immediately stop because there is no islam/muslim in this world? was there no killings or violence in the pre-islamic era? Can anybody gurantee that another belief system will not be formed in the place of islam which also will "preach" hatred and violence? I rest my case

I don`t know if your gonna agree with me here or not , and I posted it a few days ago ....Islam was created to unite the Arab tribes and to be used as a powerful weapon ... so the key word here is USED

However for 1400 years the Islamic doctrine has dictated murder or conversion of non-muslims - and what I find abhorrent too is the Quran (4:95) which criticizes "peaceful" Muslims who do not join in the violence, letting them know that they are less worthy in Allah's eyes.
So what are we non muslims supposed to do? Tell me.

morgan5: It does seem alot of posters on the forums are from the West, but its is supposed to be an International forum, surely he has a s much right to be here as anybody else?
I readily agree Morgan, 100% he has the right.
My only concern, if you want to call it that, he wants a wife and he states (incorrectly) that he cannot marry other than a muslim woman...so he either has to find a muslim lady on here, or find one that will convert to islam.
I doubt he will find either and would be more beneficial searching the muslim sites...however, yes he has the right to be on here with no shadow of doubt.

Fair enough....But i was also hoping that you would be a little more definitive with regard to having a world free of killings and violence due to the disapperance of islam and muslim. I would also love to know from you if there was any violence and killings before the advent of islam.

It's not always about wars you know. Many westerners find the culture of stoning, flogging, arranged marriages, the oppression of women etc etc a little, let's say 'strange' that in this modern day is still abundant in some of the muslims way of life.

taff1: Steve!. I had an email today showing a young muslim girl being stoned to death because she refused to go through with an arranged marriage to a much older man!!! Disgusting and we're supposed to respect these kind of things?? Come on please.
Taffy lad....their book is some 1400 years old, their customs are that too, the trouble is that they haven't evolved into the 21st century.
