On a personal level I don't find you unattractive, if you mow the beard away for western eyes and can see the bone structure beyond turban and beard .
You are obviously well educated and bright, with your own opinions and convinced of your faith, which every person should have the right to practice... as long as it doesn't infringe on all the other 'infidels' beliefs and we become less than human in your eyes... but why are you here of all places?
So...I'm assuming, you haven't been happy with your mothers' choices?

i would say, u failed to understand the Quran and the verse that u refered. Jihad is an arabic word that does not mean violence. rather it means effort. see it in arabic dictionary and the synonyms. this verse is asking to give effort for Allah and to preach the words of Allah. and those who will do so will have the higher reward

Depends what you mean by violent country.
If you go by the number of murders, that would not seem to be the case.
North America scores higher than Central Asia, near and Middle East/South-west Asia.

Now you suddenly have to defend yourself against a lot of really scared western people, who only have their knowledge from the medias and the politics being led in their respective countries.
In fact you have to answer for a lot of atrocities which have been done by minor groups within the muslim world. Even if you represent those 95% of muslims who live a normal and peaceful life. Just wishing for a family, children and a nice life.
Quotes from the Qu`raan is now being debated - even though a quick googlesearch will show similar views in the Torah and who mentioned the catholic church - the christian crusades??
And then predictably the stoning of women comes up. Next question for you could very well be: "How many women have you stoned until now?".
Again you find yourself defending your way of life against a lot of unexpected questions here...
Reading the criminal statistics in the western countries - I am sure that a lot more women is being murdered in their own homes due to drunk jealous husbands in a moment of rage. Which is just as unexcusable as stoning!!!
So much for an "international" dating site... Obviously people are sooooo scared of different cultures - unwilling to discover new ways of thinking or doing things (NO I am not refering to stoning) We could learn so much of each other. And call me naive or whatever - all I can see is that this is WRONG!
