Hi CS head office people

I hope that you are well.
I really like the new formatting and layout - it's groovy.
I wanted to mention that now it's often hard to tell the difference between the original post being quoted and the response quote beneath it, because the font is exactly the same.

Is there a way to change the formatting so that the post being quoted is in a different font, or different colour?

Thank you
Kind regards

Excuse me but the new layout is much worse than the old layout. In addition to what you just pointed out 20% of the screen isn't even used causing the names to be truncated, I can't read female names without putting the curser on the thread. Pink on Black? what genious came up with that combination? I guess they never heard the old saying "if it aint broke....."

I have trouble reading what people write because it is so small.

If I increase the font then the emotes go off the screen.

So now I have to strain my eyes and it's giving me reason to think about not being on here much.

The thing that the new format eliminated is trolls. Haven't you noticed that certain people aren't here anymore.

I don't know how formatting can control membership or participation
but I think the layout is user friendly -but what do I know?

Everything is relative I think the saying goes

I think it is better than before, and just fine to me.

But, I'm only one...there you go!

Damed if you do, and damed if you don't.

Now...going back to my peanut-butter/jelly samich! rolling on the floor laughing

Hi CS

Thank you for making the original quote smaller and in italics. This definitely makes it easier to distinguish between the OP and my reply.

cheers

Easier to distinguish maybe, but so small to be almost unreadable.

I've given up trying to read the quotes, of all the changes made, this one is just wrong for many of us. Since the recent changes traffic on the forums has fell by well over 50%, these places need to be user friendly, making the font size so small could hardly be called that.
I just dont understand why there was a need to change it in this way.

dunno

Agree 100%.

Aus forum members also agreed that the quote font was too small.

Italics would have been sufficient without changing the font size.
