I just think for someone who proclaims to be a wholesome spiritual person in the fora, Rob has a lot of hatred in him against the Catholics/Christians.

serene56: Yep they fall into one of those 'free' groups (within reason) when you are dieting.

I'm not usually a fan, but atm they are really sweet and I'm wanting to trim down a little too

I've got two words to say to you, serene...

'caralluma fimbriata'laugh
it's a plant that grows wild in western India, which starving Indians for years have eaten it, to stop themselves from feeling hungry while they go out foraging for food. An Indian company has patented it and selling it to the western world to stop people from feeling hungry so they don't eat so much. It sounds so wrong, init??!!

The added bonus is that clinical trials have shown that it increases Leptin production in the brain, which they think is what leads to significant difference in waist measurement between experimental and control groups, which amounts to a lot of fat breakdown in that gorup in only four weeks. Obviously, you can't be eating Lookin's diet and expect these results laugh

It is marketed here in oz, so I recently found out (I love researching this stuff) by Swisse under their Ultiboost Appetite Suppressant...and 'Naturopathica, 'Reducta'. Recommended dosage is twice what was used in clinical trials, so they get the thumbs up from me.

thumbs up

Actually, you can but you have to take Phase11(eg Carbmaster) and lots of Chitosan before you indulge!!

This is another the smoking comments you made daggy

Like anything, people can come up with excuses for their own actions, ie: it's just a game - pokie machine, people smoke 'til they're 100yo - smoking, it doesn't kill your brain cells - alcohol, etc, etc...
Could these scientists ever come up with a plausible big bang?
I don't think so, but it works for them like smokes, alcohol and pokies do for addicts, ignorance is bliss.

Rob, there are many of us that have had wrongs done to us. Some wrongs that will and can never be righted. Why do I say that, well it is because if we hold those wrongs close to our chest they still have the ability to affect our lives now, when the wrongs should be left in the past where they were. I know what has happened in my past, and I have found a way of dealing with it so that it no longer affects my present or my future. I hope you Rob can find the same peace of mind for yourself coz from what I read it seems that you still have a lot of things to deal with.

Everyone including Daggy is allowed their opinion, so are you, but there are times when it is better to walk away and ignore them, rather than give them more air space and keep the subject in the fore.

I accept that is your opinion and your welcome, but i disagree as daggy firstly posted thread about the meaning of life and then a thread taking a cheap shot at smokers and i choose to respond, he's talking crap and i disagree that i'm ignorant which he proposed and am sick of people pushing a load of rubbish expecting others to take it
i just disagree that i should just say nothing, i am with tony, even though i think he is running high risk of hardened arteries. Department veterans affairs advised vietnam vets to stop smoking and a number died within five six months but others on here prefer to stick with emotional thoughts in that matter, thats ok, i just ignored tony comment to me, if thats what he has choosing thats he's right, but daggy engaged in utter rubbish in same subject matter in more than two threads

In your opinion he may be risking hardened arteries but if he doesnt stop smoking he is a dead man forshore, better to take the risk than die tommorow. At least this way he stands a chance if he kept smoking he didnt. And the difference is he has had a heartattack and is now on medication to help his arteries.
Had the vietnam vets had a heartattack already? Is thier 100% proof that stopping smoking killed them? Is their even a slight chance that they had health problems already that were not treated and they were the cause of thier death. And lm not having a go at you Rob lm just stating my opinion.

To the best of my knowledge and belief (i listened to the DVA's advice) they told the Vietnam veterans to stop smoking, soon after a number of veterans died from hardened arteries, so the department withdrew that advice and offered free patches.
A number of people i personalty know, including mother and father (they didn't die at the time) but including mother farther, other veterans i know, and including the statement Billy made referring to the problems he had in relation to giving yes faithe it can be dangerous after many years smoking to just stop smoking

Hardened arteries is an illness that progresses over the long term. These people you speak of would have had the illness for years undiagnosed, they didnt suddenly get it from stopping smoking.

Im not saying something new, what I am saying is common knowledge, here is a link to a vascular site.

Here is a link to what happens when someone gives up COLD TURKEY

Im a smoker, so Im not being biased, I just believe that its important to have all the facts.

thumbs up Very interesting shell. I thought that a heart specialist wouldnt have let him quit cold turkey if it was going to endanger his health. This information has confirmed it.
