Yes, you are right, let's keep this beautiful Freedom of choosing to practice or not any form of religion or beliefs, unless it's again the Laws and the Democracies. But, let's never forget our origines, where we come from. It's fundamental even, in these troubled times.

Bonjour loveme I hope you're warmer than I am today
Note 1: The end of the Constitution records the year of its ratification, "the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven." Although, indeed, it uses the word "Lord", it does not refer to Jesus but rather to the dating method. Incredibly, some Christians attempt to use this as justification for a Christian derived Constitution. The term simply conveys a written English form of the Latin, Anno Domini (AD), which means the year of our Lord (no, it does not mean After Death). This scripted form served as a common way of dating in the 1700s. The Constitution also uses many pagan words such as January (from the two-headed Roman god, Janus), and Sunday (from the word Sunne, which refers to the Saxon Sun god). Can you imagine the ludicrous position of someone trying to argue for the justification of a pagan god based Constitution? The same goes to any Christian who attempts to use a dating convention as an argument against the Constitution's secular nature, and can only paint himself as naive, or worse, as dishonest and deceiving

well I wish I could whip out my history book and show you what I was taught
reb56: same here,geese flew over,been cold for 2 days.
Goose flights are absolutely amazing.. majestuous .. the latest before real cold. I live near two natural reserves and most stay there for part of winter then fly to Africa for about 2 or 3 months.

tomcatwarne: I agree governmants should stay neutral on religion, but just as evil is the politically correct saying our christian societies should not observe Christmas, Easter etc. These are a fundamental part of our culture and should not be influenced by those masters of control the politically correct, these decisions should be left to individuals and families. Ok tell me you don't want Santa Clause to come
Santa doesn't comes to Spain, are others who bring the toys.
But I understand you. My idea of neutrality in religious matters is Laissez faire, and this doesn't contradict the separation between church and state, it reinforces it.
stringman: no one he always was and always will be.
ok,the world is there somebody must have created it.You call the creator god.But do you see the implication? If the world is created, there can be no evolution. Evolution means creation continues. The cristian story is that after six days the world was created, on the seventh day god rested. The world was completed. Now from where does evolution comes? If the world was finished created? God did not do anything more as these six days creating. We HAVE evolution here, but evolution implies that the creation is not complete. God cannot create a incomplete world. That would be against his nature. He is perfect. Darwin says that the world is incomplete, imperfect, thats why there is evolution. The priests dont like darwin coz of this. I also see a contradiction between the creation(god) and darwin. Can you get me,stringman?
