Nothing really bad to report from my side - at least regarding clothes.
I was seeing a guy a couple of years younger than me who was wearing some "hip" t-shirts with big prints, I wasn't too mad about them, but nothing cringe-worthy.

Sloppy clothes is a turnoff for me especially for the first meeting when you want to make a good impression. This is one time when I think it's okay to judge a book by it's cover.

If he turned up in 'golfer' gear, I would not be impressed.
Apologies in advance to all golfers, but from my experience, golfers are as boring as hell.

You are right, not that us cyclists are any better, but at least the
clothing is funcional. Except if you Google the picture of the Polish
Cycling team, which mistakenly ordered runners shorts.
