Duckweed ???? And I bet you still like the woods better then the theatre. Now I understand why your "girls" aren't getting cup support
@LadyD....I was a tree climber and worked with building tools when my father was constructing something but that's about it for me.
I was more into the sewing machine to make my clothes and my daughters baby clothes. Knitting was probably my favorite to make sweaters and baby clothes.
2girlsnocup: Duckweed = the small leaves that cover a pond. The woods had a pond with an overhanging tree, and has had a rope hanging from it for years.
It's still there, as took my niece up there this afternoon for a walk.

Were you a tomboy or a princess?
Did you like to play baseball with the boys team or did you like to play tea and crumpets with other little girls?
Did you like to wear tomboy clothes or a ballerina dress?
I wasn't necessarily a tomboy per se but I did like to climb the tree in our backyard.
Every day I would try to go one branch higher then the day before but I never reached the top
Which one were you and do you still have some tomboy or princess in you?
I was certainly a combo.. However being the youngest for 9 years I was also very spoiled. I could hang with the boys and cry like a girl.. or hang with the girls and be creative like a boy.. As the years went by I became all girl.. Now as I have aged and being single acting like a Farmerette in Training.. You would never have guess that I wore nothing other than dresses most my life. I loved going to the dump yard with my dad.. Never like house work with my mom.

I was a tomboy through and through.
I liked my Boss jeans. Still do like my jeans.
It had a lot to do with growing up on a farm, getting up early to hose down the milking shed before school, driving the tractor for Dad when he was throwing the hay out to the cows, playing for hours in the haybarn.
I remember getting dolls for Christmas(I am the only girl - 3 brothers)...and cutting off all their hair and drawing moustaches on them....??
It wasn't until my teens that I became more feminine but still don't like girly frilly things or lots of bling. Probably more androgynous....a combination.
2girlsnocup: I was a tomboy. I didn't like playing with dolls and the like, but much preferred Lego or damaging the skirting boards, when I crashed my Brother's Scalextric cars into it. That was if I was ever in. Most of the time, we'd be out in the local woods making dens or getting ourselves covered in duckweed as we fell of the ropeswing. Mum used to love that, as she'd always scream at us both.
That sounds so like mine!
I do love dressing up for going out on the town now though.
Tight bodycon dress and heels, and you'd never recognise treehouse-girl!

Somehow I wish I had more tomboy in me....
