We were in a happy, full filling relationship,
Had diverse, interesting friends in real life,
Had successful careers, keeping us busy,
Had enough money to travel further than a 100 miles from home, meeting more people in real life,
Were well connected in other networks such as cultural and professional networks,
Had read interesting material on controversial topics,
Would have been accepted and acknowledged in our immediate environments for our contributions and who we are,
Were serious for real commitment...

I joined the site because of the title "connecting singles", hoping to meet someone. haven't met ANYONE face to face as of yet. heck, haven't even gotten replies to most of my messages I sent. If you're here only to feel insulted and argue on the forums, then you're a little screwed up in your own way, and you're just here to escape reality and NOT looking for anyone.
