Is this mostly a female thing? I think so, but us men have to learn the ropes.

In the old days men would boxing but no more, because the signicant other will call the sir bobby

But really, do women fight fair? Is it fair to find your stuff on the lawn after an argument? or your clothes with holes or permanent marks? Is it ok to find that your Rolex watch has suddenly disappeared? How about slandering you behind your back?

Is it ok for men to practice these crafts too?

Most men have woman beat in passive aggressive behaviors . most woman are just evening the field.
Their are so many aggressive types that prey on the kind and good in heart.
They don't seek out mates like themselves.

Obviously there are always reasons why women act aggressive , there weren't smoke without fire..... once you misbehave towards her continuously surely she will be forced to act aggressive, because no women need torture be it physically, mentally or emotionally.
All women want is peace and happiness so consider factors that brings peace and joy in their lives.

You can live with someone for years, even be married. But it's when things turn sour that you find out their true colours!

I believe that they can't hide their true selves for long, so if you don't rush into a marriage to soon , their true colors will shine forth.
I hear people say I never thought they would do this or that and almost get kill by them.
Time is our friend ...signs are there .
We dismissed they or justify their actions warning always comes before destruction. Heed the warning signs.

I think it has nothing to do with one gender or the next. Either can act in many ways.

Eh, generalising much? roll eyes

There are people with unacceptable behaviour. It is up to me who I want to deal with or not - there are a multitude of behaviours I don't find acceptable and I don't deal with these people.

The gender gap is narrowing. Young men are adapting to equality by becoming more manipulative and passive aggressive like a girl.

Generalisations of course, exceptions exist. Another group of people with a keen appetite for passive aggression are the wealthy. Duking it out is definitely more of a working class thing and the wealthy have the more subtle and artful techniques for the purpose of damaging others.

Words are the weapons of women and wealthy folk.

the behavior you describe is questionable. In my experience or observation it is more often practiced by men and it is not passive aggressive, just aggressive dunno

except hiding the watch....my ex husband would agree to my going somewhere and I would give him weeks notice, then the day before he would ALWAYS every time, feign some reason that I could not go. I'd call my friends and say "yup he's done it again. As soon as I finished calling, he'd turn around and insist I go...so I would call everyone again...yada yada....this is not slander, it's the truth

If you don't like what a woman is saying about you, make sure it is not the truth before accusing her of slander.

I believe Passive-Aggressive Behavior has hit an all-time high. It also includes Emotional Blackmail, and these two together are extremely difficult to contend with. Passive Aggressive people are skillful and adept at getting the target. That is why it is so difficult to address. There is no one scenerio, but often it involves getting the victim to say or do something in a group or open setting. Because others nearby have no idea that this is going on, the victim is looked at as the "bad guy", or being inappropriate, and that is exactly what the Passive Aggressor wants. It is a terrible problem, and it is going on all over the place.

True, however it is usually after the fact that you know their mode of acting.

It is even harder to avoid when the person is, say, a boss, a spouse, or a child.conversing

Definitely sounds passive-aggressive. He does not want you to leave and is unable to put his thoughts into words.

They say action speaks louder than words, but if the persons action is harmful to someone else's health or possession, it can be hard to address, especially if you find our after the fact..and of course many will deny it was them.

Who would want to deny, however, that passive-aggressive behaviour is less dangerous than verbal threats or physical assaults?
