few deadly creatures here yeah, octopus, (platypus to) stinger jellyfish, spiders, snakes and few others that cause can cause lots pain including ants and ticks.

The two most common snakes found in this area:

Eastern brown snake (Pseudonaja textilis), often referred to as the common brown snake, is a species of venomous elapid snake of the genus Pseudonaja. This snake is considered the world's second-most venomous land snake

Reb Bellied Black snake is dangerously venomous but bites are rare because it is usually a placid and fairly docile snake, preferring to enact a lengthy bluff display with flattened neck and deep hisses rather than bite

they live quite deep underground and no they offer any threat to anybody, just a very big earth worm that turn organic matter into plant food, they would do lots of good in your garden Molly...like all worms
