Local news say the danger has now passed, but that work will have to be done to the spillway as soon as practicable, sounds like they need some lessons from the beaver.

Damaged emergency spillway at nation's tallest dam forces massive evacuations in California

"This is not a drill. Repeat this is not a drill,” the National Weather Service said Sunday, urging people living below Oroville Dam to evacuate.

The evacuation was ordered because of a “hazardous situation” involving the Northern California dam's emergency spillway. The National Weather Service said the auxiliary spillway is expected to fail and could send an “uncontrolled release of flood waters from Lake Oroville.”

Well I went to the petrol station and got some petrol. Then a straight, to drive home in a bad night of weather, and my car came to a halt.
After much deliberation with the mechanics after 1 week, it was found that diesel was put in instead of petrol.
Saw my petrol station guy and requested film footage. (They normally fill it for me)
Why not!
How does that happen>?

But apparently it did.
I am not sure, but they are computerized so I am a loss to how this happened when all pumped are locked ad you have to go and pay first.
Hence requiring film footage, as I don't remember me putting the fuel in.

I was so Blessed to have a friend at work to lend me her spare little car she had, rather than driving the old rattley 1 ton truck to work.

A simple drain of the fuel tank and pipes and all will be okay, far worse to put petrol in a diesel engined vehicle, as that will kill the injectors and could cause the engine to seize, as diesel also acts as a lubricant.

diesel has lot of detergent in it, and will likely stuff seals if run in petrol engine, you probably seek legal advice

I am so happy to hear that, as the mechanic said everything is ok now, draining the tank, and he had to clean the injectors.
Thankyou! I understand what you say about a diesel truck.

I think you should get further advice relating to engine seals after diesel has been run in a motor
