pat8lanips: Aaand.... Whats the difference between a New Zealander and a computer? ...You only have to punch the information into a computer once.
My favourite Aussie story.
Ritchie McCaw goes into the All Black changing room to find all his team mates looking a bit down. "What's up?" he asks.
"Well, we're having trouble getting motivated for this game Ritchie. We know it's important but we've just beaten Argentina and South Africa in consecutive weeks and let's be honest it's only Australia. They're total crap and we simply can't be bothered".
Ritchie looks at them and says "Oh well, the way I've been playing recently, I reckon I can beat these Aussies by myself, you guys go down the pub."
So Ritchie goes out to play the Wallabys by himself while the rest of the All Black Team goes off for a few jars. After a few beers they wonder how the game is going, so they get the barman to put the telly on.
A big cheer goes up as the screen reads "New Zealand 7, (McCaw - 10 minutes - Converted Try) - Australia 0 ".
He is beating Australia all by himself!!!! Anyway, the telly goes off and a few more beers later the game is forgotten until someone remembers "It must be full time now, let's see how Ritchie got on". They get the telly put back on.
"Result from Eden Park: New Zealand 7, (McCaw, 10 minutes) - Australia 7, (Sharpe, 79 minutes)".
They can't believe it. Ritchie has single-handedly got a draw against Australia!!
They rush back to Eden Park to congratulate him. They find him in the dressing room, still in his gear, sat with his head in his hands. He refuses to look at them. "I've let you down guys. Sorry, but I’ve really let you down." moans Ritchie.
"Don't be an idiot; you got a draw against Australia, all by yourself. And they only scored at the very, very end!" says the rest of the team.
"No, No, I have" says Ritchie, "I've let you down…………..I hope you can forgive me but I got sent off after 12 minutes""

Aaaand ....the ship gets all the knowladge 'punch' over time, till eyes pops out. Oh I got carry on with your jokes ...but I love New Zelander friends.
Yep, thats about right. Hurts watching the footy, they always win.
I'm guessing there's an equally long-winded joke about them beating us in the Americas cup 20-something years ago. Or maybe not, after a maori bloke smashed the original cup to pieces with a hammer, in protest over child support payments I believe.

I consider someone living in the next county, a long distance relationship. I don't do long distance relationships! IF I were looking for a relationship, it would be because I want someone with me, by me, of me. Someone in another country would never happen for me (unless it is Angelina Jolie). There is an exception to every rule.
serene56: Seems to me that for many it's a fairytale, a fantasy that most often leads to confusion, heartache and disappointment.
That's what I think
I think we should forget the taboos that others have presented, simply focus on those we want, because we always think about the negative and forget what can happen?
It is good to know that there are people who show how beautiful the world is, and how difficult it is to find that right person, the majority of people who provide a quality of ridicule, in their interior or lack of love, we all fear to fall in love for fear to fail, and we use negative excuses as a means of protecting ourselves from the darts of love, but I tell them love, it arrives, and distance is no obstacle, simply choosing the right person
It amazes me to see many people persist only in the negative, luckily I have learned to ignore people who only dare to make fun of the brave ones who do not say no to fate or to progess, but my way is already marked, that matters if others say no, when we look at the positive we understand that we come to the world to fulfill promises to mark the destiny of our life. My destiny is already marked soon, I will also speak and some day I will be in another country and maybe I will say some of them. I arrived, yes it was possible, now it will be my turn to give encouragement to those who have never achieved it.
HexagonKeySet: Set yourself up with a nice Imaginary Girlfriend ... someone y'll never meet, make all the right noises and you can be as deluded as a many on here ..
The illusion never lets you be deluded, you dream you think that with your negativity nothing can be achieved, apparently you are afraid of something, maybe they are ahead of you, because you are also one of those who want to be somewhere else. But I tell you something, my objective is not to travel, my goal is to find a woman that together with my fight for happiness, be here in Cuba, or in another country. We all have rights, because you are so negative, so reckless. What have Latinos done to you?

A very considerate option, but we can not always think for ourselves, I know many Chileans who do not like the Chilean, and Peruvians also do not tolerate Peruvian men, and if I keep talking, in Russia, I heard that the men are not romantic either, and they treat women badly, I say it for person that I know that they have been there, then those are some of the women or men who leave in search of a relation with people of other cultures, perhaps if angeline Jolie existed On Mars, you were going there, so in reality you would do it.
Amed32: How many times has it happened that we know a person by our email, and when we start to write, things start to happen that fill the space of that person who may be by your side, but not enough to replace this relationship you start? How many of us have not tried to look for that cybernetic love that will make us happy even if only for beautiful images? Do you think it is possible to shorten the distance for a long time to love a person? Many people do not give credibility to distant relationships, either because of some bad reputation, or bad advice from others that bad things have happened to them, but really a distant relationship is so serious, it has credibility, do you think it will have any fruit? Well in my opinion leaving behind the avatars, and the indisciplines of some who have committed, I believe that if, My point of view is who you choose, I am of those who think that you can not always pretend to be who you are not, So if you find someone who might try to play with you, at any time you get your nails out, show who you really are, I am the one who gives credibility to this type of relationship, I know that they have found partners online and now they are married and Very happy, and if it happened to them you think it will not happen with others? I believe that the relation to Distance is another way to find the person you need, both in Cuba and in another country. What do you think?
Well...several women here replied to this post, I wont tell names but...not intrested...when I have sent a mail you know why...and if you don't here is maybe the clue. The offer of men is too huge on the net, two main point are of intrest, especially the looks on a picture and surely your income...two main factors wich are recurrent. For Women to chose is difficult and dating sites like a marketshop, After a firm choice for the two above subcribed items they go into a relationship and 2-3 months later it stops...some couples arrive to live together ( breaking up an existing marriage) to finally see that is no use to continue. A professor said that all dating sites within four years will be full of losers. I hope to find still someone because I am not a loser at all, but I consider myself as one if I don't succeed. When a women wants a man...she goes for it..whatever the coast. Honesty, sincerity, loyalty are no more of this world anymore even pretending on profiles. Sorry I am honest and proud to be. Now the world has changed ...why not...women are chasing men. Well...chasing is losing. Carefully looking, patience and analysing is winning...nevertheless I sent a message twice. If I don't get a response within maximum 24-48 hrs. It is considered that I am not the right person. I am not a bank whom gives more opportunities. I know what I want, what I have to offer and what my capabilities are. She whom doesn't want to know ...ok...her choice. Excuses as I am prudent because of to many fake profiles...well you should chose better, and beauty and welfare...are two things wich don't coop on a dating site. The good, honest and rich men aren't here. They have women smart enough to satisfy them and not to cheat. Stop believing dating sites are a dreamworld. I stay foot on the ground. I apologise for this firm and maybe rude answer but as you look into your heart and soul...you know that is the truth here written. She whom wants to convince me can write to me and especially by politeness answer on a demand even with negative respons.

Amed32: ?
While you do find your LD partner (in case you have not) would it be too much to ask you to post some pics from your country and share something about your culture?
