I have never blocked anybody, apart from obvious scammers, and that happens after the first email they send.

I'd say repeated lies... coz I would probably give one or two chances depending on the severity of the lie of course..

messages are reasonably easy, don't reply and delete generally solves that problem... but the blogs and forums is another matter... its easy to block someone making comments you don't agree with, but then if you post, you should expect a percentage of negative replies or replies you don't like... debate is good if the proposition is worth debating...
however, someone takes over a thread and repeatedly making crass or rude comments, using inappropriate language or belittling you or other members, sometimes in the name of humour, is not acceptable... so In guess you bring that to there attention, and if it continues, block or report... not a nice ending either way...
