I still have my profile set to "not looking"....sadly alot of men still see that as a sign that says....I'm a challenge come get me....which is not what it means at all.
I have male friends here now that I happily email...and female friends too.
But apart from that one particular person on CS that I am in serious like with then no I'm not looking.
And sadly he may not be single anymore either but hey ho.

I met several interesting people for cultural exchange and exchange of ideas. I enjoy reading some people here (on the forums and blogs). Writing about some things from my past helped me overcome them. I doubt that I could meet 'someone special' here. Men on dating sites - in general - move too fast for me. It always makes me uncomfortable. Meeting someone I could get along well with, but at my own pace - would be very difficult, I'm afraid. But I hope to meet more interesting people who could become good friends. So far - it's worth staying.

In that way it can be helpful,,,,, yes some can be too fast ,especially if you want to take it
slowly, it's best to take it slowly and get to know someone, over a long period of time.
