It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that! ( i gind this very inspiring)

Having tap danced when i was younger, i cant help but think this song would probably send me over the edge instead of inspire. Yea, think of all those successful people who had to pick themselves up again.

If I told you my life story, you’d be aghast. 
There was sunshine and rainbows all right… in extremely small spurts in between the epic battles of my traumatic youth and young adulthood that kicked my butt. My life was no picnic, believe you me. Far from it. I grew up wounded, skeptical, afraid, indecisive, ashamed, cynical, depressed, and downright disillusioned.
The only thing I had going for me was a war of inner anger. Not anger against others, but anger at the anxiety within my own mind and heart holding me back from enjoying life.
God only knows where my determination came from, but I sure thank God I possessed it. Because here I am in my senior years and I’m more joyful, more at peace, more confident, more empathetic, more positive, than I’ve ever been in my life. Not because my life was all sunshine and rainbows. But because of the small doses of sunshine, roses, & rainbows I saw along the way. And most of all, because of the precious caring people I’ve met who encouraged and inspired me. It's amazing how many good people there are in this world who take the time to reach out and love us when we take the time to hear them. 
Now I pay it forward by inspiring and encouraging others. 
Life may not have turned out exactly the way you hoped it would. But YOU can turn out way better than you ever dreamed you could.
