daniela777: Hello Lady Frisky...long time no see..
I'm glad you're enjoying all those colours.
As I said colours carry energy and vibrations and therefore affects also our own energy..and our moods.
I went on a workshop once and we had to guess the colour of various pieces of material but with our eyes shut. We had to feel the material and how it vibrated. Very interesting.
Oh wow, that is very cool. I would have loved going to that workshop.
I had a busy week, but I've been around a bit. Hope all is well with you
I suppose my attire speaks for the colours of my life..Except for my gym wear..I'm talking about my attire away from the gym..I love soft pastel powder colours..I'm not into the dark shades of red or black nor navy for that matter
I'm boring when it comes to emails let alone coloured emails

When Van Gogh was institutionalized, as I recall, the walls of his room were painted apple green. A color believed to sooth and help the patients. Many of his following paintings used similar colors (A vase of pink roses) that contrasted with the violent, almost epileptic brushstrokes. A balance in the soothing, tranquil or restful colors and the violent pattern of brushstrokes was achieved and resulted, in many critics opinions,in his greatest works.

ChesneyChrist: Not the most colourful life around but then I’ve never had any gay feelings. If I could muster the serious interest in frivolity, I would.
I think you're sweet enough Chris...in black and white too.

That's interesting Ralph..thanks for sharing and reminding us of this brilliant artist.
I'll be going to Arles at Xmas where he spent time painting the beautiful landscapes of the Provence and the street where he lived.
