Still watching in syndication...Michael Landon was one of my very favorite people...the episode I liked the very most was the one where Albert feigned blindness so his real father would not want him, and he could be adopted by the Ingalls... a way feel good one!

saw a lot of the episodes in my youth, but hardly have any memories on it, except for the irritating Nellie and her brother, one time they were picking flowers along the river and they found some poison ivy. Well, <ichael Landon always looked like a warm and friendly guy, and every episode was a feel good episode. For in tje end all problems always were solved.
@ Years back watched the tv series The big valley on Youtube, starring Lee Majors, Linda Evans (dynasty) and others. Also a nice tv-series.

I did not watch this show. I Don't recall seeing any previews or promotions for it either. Not sure why i didn't unless it aired originally between 1970 and 1978.

Definitely the episode with Johnny Cash where he plays a con man pretending to be a minister.
I have been to the Ponderosa Ranch theme park on Lake Tahoe twice when I lived in Carson City, Nevada over 30 years ago. Both times we signed up for the Chuck Wagon Breakfast which you take a old tractor pulled hay wagon up the mountain to a meadow with a chuck wagon that had all the scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, biscuits and gravy you can eat. When you take the hay wagon up and back down there was a bunch of old cars, tractors, fire engines, ambulances and farm equipment to see along both sides of the road. You could tour the house and see a staged gunfight outside of the town set. You could get all the root beer you can drink if you buy a souvenir tin cup in the saloon. Sadly it closed down in 2004 and was sold for about 38 million dollars because it is prime Lake Tahoe real estate.

Been there— saw the gunfight, drank beer out of a tin cup, bought a white porcelain bolo tie ( steer skull) wrapped in rattlesnake skin. It was a great vacation. Also went up to Virginia City. One really great time for about a week..
