raw meaning fresh and uncooked? makes sense - all natural, no additives, no lost vitamins in the process of cooking, and obviously excluding meat.... ok maybe sushi
Why not just go on the Prairie on all Fours grazing like Bovines? Good way to pick up all sorts of interesting Microscopic and other Sundry Bugs. What do you think one of the reasons of cooking your Food is?????

I tried it - it`s fantastic! And you`ll feel and look SO good! It is very very difficult - be warned - your cravings will almost kill you, you`ll be stamping your feet and having a tantrum for some fried food!
I did the 10 days on water only, then only raw vegetables/fruit/nuts for 3 months, and strict vegan for a year - never felt better in my life. I had so much energy. It`s easier if you got someone with you on the same regime .... for encouragement.
Good luck. But - be warned ... it is a painful walk to try. You can exist on water only for 10days - every time you feel hungry just drink a beer mug of water.... after 3 days you wont notice the lack of food! and will then enjoy eating fresh stuff.

Diets are fine, I guess. But I think that you seriously need to change your lifestyle if you are to maintain a healthy weight. If the calories in match the calories out, you maintain weight.
In order to lose weight, your calories out must exceed your calories in...and, in order to have a healthy lifestyle, exercise rears its ugly head. You cannot maintain a healthy lifestyle without it.
Please don't get me wrong, I struggle with weight issues myself. The difference between me now and me then is that I have changed my lifestyle a little at a time for the better. These must be permanent changes. This takes longer, but it also shows results that last.
So, try the fancy diets to lose weight, but don't forget about maintenance. Diet is not the key word, its lifestyle.
