Good you were joking Alfalfa.

You will meet some body as well. There are many women out there but still I know it is difficult to meet people some how now on days. I guess this internet thing is a great way to meet others but still the expectations has been raised dramatichally because of this media as well.

The best thing is some times frogetting the net even exists and trying ones best out side in the real world and then dates will be possible.

Some thing is certain.....as many single men this new age has created means there are many single women as well.....at least almost the same number! They need us as well and thinking a bout that fact and not thinking one is more or less lonely than the other but as lonely as one other.....will make the matter of getting dates less complicated.

400 times a mounth will be impossible to mannage I am certaingrin

Dude, I am self employed. And I have been fortunate when it come medical problems and issue. I am 58, about 8 months ago began to take some high blood med and Chylorisal med.....get this.....$16 a month. Both are are on Walmarts low cost med program.

My dad in his 80, had triple by pass....at one time was taking 23 different med a day......now down to 7 med a day.He get them from the VA.....average cost is $3 for a 3 month supply for a med.

Every one here is different when it comes to meds. Ship seems like he he is the unusual situation there....with a med the is very expensive.

What I am saying is this.....that for most of the common medical treatments......the Walmart low cost med program has some 2000+...
different meds on it.....where the average price is $4 per month.....you can find low cost medication here in the country. Sure the unusual meds do go up siginificantly.

So I don't buy it, that Americans cannot afford thier medical cost when it comes to medications. Sure when it comes to major surgery, or long term re hab, or some major illness that is a different matter. But on basic medications......no.

And Alfalfa.......note no vigra taken here.....:-)

*VA now charges $7 a script. The scripts I get(used to) from VA were only for 30 days and I was paying $7 for that 30 day supply

TT

Thank you for bringing real examples from real life. The matter a bout copymedicin made in India and China as well has made medication costs easier for some chronichal patients in Denmark as well as in other countries and surely most of those medications are as good as when it is a bout common somatic difficulties but still many kind of nerve medications has a differnet story.

Beside that anti inflamatory medication, medication kidney patietns have to take for years and even if they get transplanted a new one, patients who suffer from difficulties with their lever mainly because of Hepatites or other funktiononal problems regarding their lever, and many other somatic conditions as well are best taken cared of with medication which are really expensive to make and the cost is sky high as well.

In Denmark patients paying some of the price them selves but still the government makes that payment possible by paying a big part of the price so people can affording it and it is up to how much a person earns of course. The money comes from our own taxes, but still it is great and the payment is only possible that way othewise most patients would never be able to pay that price them selves.

I know America is definately not a third world country when it comes to the matter of health care and most people getting by, but still I may admit I have heard many negative stories a bout this particular situation and know many people in your country dreaming a bout a better situation regarding that. There is a huge amount of charity programs in your country helping people I know, and good hearted americans doing a great amount of help for less fortuned human beings but still I beleive it would be best not to hope for charity or for some good people helping you as a begger or some thing, and if any american could go get a treatment with out thinking oh my god what am I going to do Now? I have no health insurence and all that stress ,I am sure would be great being without. I have seen those adds in newspapers from people who have a sick child or a sick mother or a wife or a father or..., and asked good people to help them with money for being able to help their loved ones and that made me feel sad I may say....really sad.

I have not met many americans who are totaly satisfide with their insurence and I hear serious diseases making the insurence companies changing face all of a sudden! Here not all patients are satisfide either but at least, it is not a bout affording it or not it is a bout the quality some times. Thinking "money" when sick, is a horrible thing I beleive. Typichal living in a welfare society, once you have it you dont want to let it go because it feels really cool.

American oposition toward free heath care is a bout more Tax or not and beside a bout the feeling of Solidarity or not, amoung americans I beleive.

I hope some day, exactly as after 9/11 a feeling of solidarity against a horrible threat made most americans stand together and forgetting their differences and their own ego and all that, and just thought a bout their country and a bout all americans well being....I hope the same feeling one day becomes reality a bout Solidarity toward free health care for all americans and accepting that tax raise or not, a universal plan for all americans is a fabulous way of Care and a very positive way of "Nationalism" when it is great!

Still far from possible I know!people became "angry when I asked a bout the matter some times, when I was on visit in your country .....and when I, as the typichal person I am....asked a bout the reason of that Anger the definitions were almost the same each single time: "Why shall I care if some body is ill because he/she has not taken care of one self good enough or if some body suffers a serious diseas, I will never get any way"?

My thouhgts a bout this matter is not a suggestion or any thing like that!Just a thought and a wondering, I have been wonderig about for years.

HAHAHA Perfect! This thread starts out with some fool praising Obama (and of course he would, he is from another country so would probably love sitting back laughing while Obama sent this whole country down the toilet), and then boils down to a discussion of his meds. All I can say is that if he thinks Obama is the best we can do, he seriously needs a lot of meds.
