Remember I said that happened one time in American history, when Andy Jackson took a VP from the opposing party to win his election in
1828. So strange things have happened like a McCain/Clinton match up here. If it happens, think about it......McCain's right REP and Clintons mod Dems....is tough combination to beat.

Also last night in his speech, McCain praised Hillary for running such a determined campaign and gaining the popular vote that she did. He respects her. That is one of the key pieces for a President/VP relationship. Also it exactly what Hillary says she is looking to gain from this. So yes come late August, you might be very surprised what gets announced at the RNC.

The far left is caught between a rock and hard place on Hillary right now. She has made Obama's short list of VPs, she wants the VP job,
she got some major support to bring to the table and will unite the party.

The far left does not know if they should continue the attack on her or begin to kiss and make up with her.

Then you got Howard Dean sitting there going if I let the Clinton
machine back into the game.....I am in serious trouble. Political pay back from a VP Hillary, is sure to come his way. And I have a little trouble with 2012 election. Where she might run again, even if I make her VP.

My bet is if they say no to her. There will be phone calls to the McCain camp. Also if those kisses aren't sincere, again that call will be made.
Hillary understands how the far left flips on things. Those kisses better come with some agreements signed by the right people.

Which brings me to the last little thing on why Hillary is still running.

Florida has 23 super diligates. Since they have begun this. Guess how many have flipped from one canidate to the other after announcing and endorsing? Answer 13.

Over that time, 1/2 of them have flipped from thier original endorsement. 8 from Clinton to Obama and 5 for Obama to Clinton.

If that is going on across the board with all the super deligates. You can understand why she continues. These super dilegates are not locked in untill the DNC in August. She has all summer to work on them
and flip them.

Obama might be the within a hair breath nominee the DNC in 2008. He can still lose the nomination. He makes a major gaff or another Rev. Wright emerges.....he might be asking her for the VP job.

Hot_Single_Dude: Of course my oposition toward Hillary began seriously when she closed her self too much to McCain and beside before that she is involved in a lot things which are not presidentially great to have in ones baggage. You can read it all all over then net and one of the most complete sites a bout her Special way of behaviour is:

Plus at least a tousands places more!

Her anonucements during this election mad eme just sure she is not a good person getting that position she was looking for and that is the presidency. beside in my eyes it was important to concider the amount of oposition to the Iraq war which in my eyes is the main reason to most of the problems americans facing now on days and of course the economichal situation over there. Hillary was not opposed to this horrible war until lately and that shows she is not really good to know how things are connected at all.

Just imagine a VP with so many prooven negtaive stories behind her.....that will give any campain a burden and any comming VP a true non trustable face in the nations eyes. I wish Hillary was not invovled in all things she has been involved in but she has been as a matter of fact and that one of the main reasons republicans tried so hard to help her defeating Obama.

Not hatered exaclty, suspision based on strories which have been there for years and analysed and prooven as well.

I would love to see a lady as vice but Hillary na......I know her supporters running mad and some of them will flip flop for McCain but still those people would vote McCain any way and they can not possibly ever changing their minds a bout Obama any way.

well you know, of course, that I don't agree with you. But at least you are the first one to come up with a reason for the vehement attacks against"her policies". Thank you for that.

Again, I will be greatly surprised if O'Bama chooses Clinton as a rumnning mate

ttom500: I have thought that way myself, Ship. He would help with the Hispanic vote and strengthen foreign affairs. But doing so will not make Hillary's soccer moms and blue collars happy. Also SE USA.....if McCain adds
Hucklebee as his VP....becomes a real questionmark.

I don't think that we will hear anything on this till convention is near in late summer from either side. It is free media to have the question asked who is going to be your VP?

Till they say....we get to play mix and match......just like Barbie and Ken dolls?.....or is that Barbie and GI Joe ?.....or Barbie and _______?Just a point of reflection, Dude. C. Powell never did endorse Obama.
So? He is still a possiblity for McCain's running mate. If asked, I hope he takes it.

And something else.....that seems to be missing at this point. Did Al Gore endorse Obama? I have not heard. Interesting if he did not.

Powell as VP for McCain? that will be interesting in deed....I dont think he will say yes but if he does then it will be some how positive for McCain. I am not sure Powell want to be this near to a man who is a part of this Bushney way of running the country. I am sure Powell regrets a lot today and McCain nothing what so ever......even he treis to say he does.

Albert Gore has unfortunatily choosed to stay silence still. He would be a great VP for Obama and would give him at least millions of more supporters. Al gore enjoys a huge amount of support all over America , of course most republicans and many democrats as well, hate the guy but many others are really proud of supporting a guy who has won the peace nobel price and has changed to much better and has used so much energy in order to save the entire world from the huge danger of global warming. Obama is one of the only known and influental politicians in America whom dared to say Al Gore was the one who won in 2000 and he was cheated that way....I mean all America was cheated that way. I am sure this brave announcement from Obama during a very sensitive periode of campaining should make Al Gore getting out of his corner and endorsing Obama with no doubts.

In my eyes it will be a miracle if Al Gore accpets the challange because I am certain Obama wants that very much. Al has how ever chosed to stay in his neutral corner and he is probabely not so much for becoming VP one more time. He would get the most important influence in order to make a better ameircan environmental policies as the VP, than he can ever expect.

Just imagine VP of GWB, wanted a whole scaled War mainly because of his private interests in Halliburton and he got it......VP is not to make fun with, it is a very important job and it gives a lot influence on the president decisions a bout what so ever!

I am waiting on Al Gore,s position as well but till now totaly silence and thats rather odd!dunno

We don't have to agree with you on everything and we don't have
to like everyone and never say a negative word without being accused and called haters, we are entitled to our opinions whether you like them or not. Do you argue with news analyse when they call her narcisist? I said she is power hungry and that is my opinion of her, McCain and Bush.

I would honestly like to know why there is such hatred for Hillary!! No one seems to have an answer...only hateful rhetoric!! I can understand not liking her, but fail to understand calling her a potential assassin, enemy of democracy, and such. And the same people who level such remarks get highly offended if you speak one word against O'Bama. This really puzzles me!

It is nmuch easier to level hatred remarks that come up with an intelligent apologetics for what you believe, I guess

It's not hatred for Hillary....... It is hatred for the Clinton's.
Some of us know their true past.. but I'm not going there again.

I have always been a republican....... Bush has changed that.

a little side track here. While in Germany, I went to a restaurant and saw a beer sign that said Budweiser. I asked the owner, if that was American Bud, and he said yes. i asked him why, in the beer capital of the universe, he was seeling Bud, he told me...He imported Bud because there were so many Americans there, that it really helped his business alot. I had never thought of that with so many great beers in Germany. Good marketing always works!

I really don't like Bud....only ONE beer I will drink, period. Just not a beer drinker.

If you want to travel I recomend a city between Austrai and Czech republic called Ceské Budejovice , or simply Budwise whenre Budweiser was brewed first time and before the familt moved to Aemrica and made the bran also number one bran in America.

I was there five years a go, beautiful historichal city, beuatiful girls, hospital people and calm atmospher, music was great and every thing fabulous and then..........

You see really differnet kinds of beer as almost no where else! Normla Budweiser is like 4.6 procent alcohol and they had a Budweiser like 12.6 procent alkohol an dnormally the taste of beer gets rather Bad when so much alkohol but this particular beer was so tasty any way .......it was like a good vine some how......

I drink oacationally but not often because alkohol is not health for one if it is much. One beer some times feels good for sure!

Now I got a bone to pick with the far left and it is serious one. People are dieing over it.

The USNAVY vessels carrying relief supplies to Myanmar were just diverted from their mission to delivery the supplies. That were not
offloaded at the Myanmar ports.

If you have followed the post cyclone relief efforts and stories here.....GWB has been trying to get these relief supplies into the country. But the Junta Generals refuse them dockage. With a really filmsy reason.

The reason is they 'fear that the Americans will invade the country for its oil from these ships.' Getting the picture?

First off there are so many ways around this Myanmar fear and reason....from vessel inspections prior to docking, to Myanmar military onboard the vessels, to only one ship docking at a time....that the reason does not hold water or logic.

Also you got to know how bad it is in Myanmar right now. People are living on a single package of saltine crackers a day. Alot of the food that was first given was spoiled from the Cyclone.....and they were forced to eat it. You think that the cyclone killed a lot? Watch what happens with weaken and starved bodies in now a disease invested country. It will make the cylcone death toll look like a low scoring baseball game.

So why am I picking a bone with the far left? You are the ones that told the world that GBW was invading oil producing countries. The Myanmar Generals picked up on it and are using it as the 'reason' for denying entry to the relief ships.

Being very honest far left. GWB has invaded one major oil producing
country....Iraq.....there are some 30+ others that he has never made a
any agressive mil operations on. In my opinion, your spin on GWB invading oil rich countries is indirectly causing these future deaths in
Myanmar.

Here is the kicker, far left. Most of Myanar oil production is offshore platforms. We do not need to invade the country get the oil wealth of the country. All we need to do is occupy those offshore platforms.
country. If we wanted to and the countries oil resources are US.

Maynar Generals are using this lame excuse to depopulate their country and make it easier to control. And they are using a lame excure of the far left to do it with.jmo

that was lame!! Are you saying that the leaders of a country are believing rumors cast by the left wing, instead of doing research. These leaders are making decisions based on wat they hear...instead of what the see and investigate??

Though I agree with you on many things, this borders on the absurd, to accuse liberals for food not getting to it's rightful destiny.

***So why am I picking a bone with the far left? You are the ones that told the world that GBW was invading oil producing countries. The Myanmar Generals picked up on it

wow...what a way to run a government!!. Could it be a propaganda ploy from the Chinese inspired goverment??? Is that possible. Or is that as far fetched to you as the liberal theory is to me??
