shipoker55: don't want to shock you...but Hillary is a Clinton. So if you Hate the Clintons...you hate Hillary. But again...no reason for this hatred. I would like to know why so many hate her!! That is not saying you can't have your opinion, like I will be accused of, just wondering what brought you to this frame of mind.

Funny....I have always been a democrat...even worked for some candidates. But I am very close to voting republican in this election!! So we have that in commom...party flip floppers

I don't hate anyone ship. Here's an olive leaf, I don't hate you, the way you said you hate me. but I forgive you. If I am not making personal attacks on people and I am only saying what I believe to be true about a politician, I don't think it is fair to be called hater and hater over and over, not only by you but alfalfa was also using it as his argument. But he has stopped. When you came in that thread that day, there was a very heated arguement. I said that the term terrorist is hard to define now because people are fighting for what they believe in. and Bush could be considered a terrorist for shock and awe. You post sounded very angry to me and it did seem as if you were making a personal attack on Dude because he likes to participate in America politcs and make these threads. Some people are in agreement with Bush and they don't agree with Dude or myself or many other American's who believe now that they were misled.
We are a global economy and what America does effects other countries. Even if it is only humanatarian reasons that they do not believe in this war and want it to stop. I have admired Dude's humanity and concern for human life from the start. I like these political threads. Actually, I have refreshed my memory and researched and learn more as a result of them.

I am sorry I came down on you so hard that day. I hesitated before I did and thought for a moment that Dude could reply himself. But as I said it was getting very heated just when you came in and posted. I have been telling people from the start who have attacked dude personally that it is his right to make these threads and speak of world interest. But it happened that I replied for him and because I was in the middle of an argument you got the brunt of it. I apologize for that. I don't want to point fingers anymore. I take responsibility for what most likely seemed to you as an unfair attack, which there have been quite a few of in these threads. I hope you will extend a little understanding and I would like to stop the finger pointing. Peace!

I'm glad that you live in Denmark and not in USA. You would be a dangerous man.
I wouldn't sue you for having an opinion, as you said, you have a right to express your opinion, just as I have my right to my opinion. I'm just wondering why you are so obsessed with this election? After all, this is how many threads you have started about the primary?

Hot_Single_Dude: Of course my oposition toward Hillary began seriously when she closed her self too much to McCain and beside before that she is involved in a lot things which are not presidentially great to have in ones baggage. You can read it all all over then net and one of the most complete sites a bout her Special way of behaviour is:

Plus at least a tousands places more!

Her anonucements during this election mad eme just sure she is not a good person getting that position she was looking for and that is the presidency. beside in my eyes it was important to concider the amount of oposition to the Iraq war which in my eyes is the main reason to most of the problems americans facing now on days and of course the economichal situation over there. Hillary was not opposed to this horrible war until lately and that shows she is not really good to know how things are connected at all.

Just imagine a VP with so many prooven negtaive stories behind her.....that will give any campain a burden and any comming VP a true non trustable face in the nations eyes. I wish Hillary was not invovled in all things she has been involved in but she has been as a matter of fact and that one of the main reasons republicans tried so hard to help her defeating Obama.

Not hatered exaclty, suspision based on strories which have been there for years and analysed and prooven as well.

I would love to see a lady as vice but Hillary na......I know her supporters running mad and some of them will flip flop for McCain but still those people would vote McCain any way and they can not possibly ever changing their minds a bout Obama any way.

And if Hillary had beat Obama, you would be kissing her rosey red butt within a week! kiss lips lips

Hot_Single_Dude: If you want to travel I recomend a city between Austrai and Czech republic called Ceské Budejovice , or simply Budwise whenre Budweiser was brewed first time and before the familt moved to Aemrica and made the bran also number one bran in America.

I was there five years a go, beautiful historichal city, beuatiful girls, hospital people and calm atmospher, music was great and every thing fabulous and then..........

You see really differnet kinds of beer as almost no where else! Normla Budweiser is like 4.6 procent alcohol and they had a Budweiser like 12.6 procent alkohol an dnormally the taste of beer gets rather Bad when so much alkohol but this particular beer was so tasty any way .......it was like a good vine some how......

I drink oacationally but not often because alkohol is not health for one if it is much. One beer some times feels good for sure!
Budweis IS in the Czech-Republic,and plays some role in Jaroslav Hasek's "Adventures of the Brave Soldier Shveik".

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This post is really a great one and I really feel great a bout seeing reconsiliation and seeing that stopping personal attacks agaisnt each other is possible and it feels great as well I am certain.

I am happy to see this fight is over and I am happy to see many positive signs from Shipoker,s side as well to explain the reasons a bout his former attacks. I beleive nothing is impossible to solve if both sides start communication as this example truely shows!

I am looking forward to see more and more posts from both you and Shi as well and really discussing politichal disagreements does not necessarily needs real fights and problems are solvable.

I thank you Opal because you stood on my side and appriciate your strength and I am sorry you have seen angry words a bout you because of little me........All respect to you and to Shipoker as well.

ttom500: Ship, The principle reason that the Junta of Myanmar is refusing those
relief ships of the US is that they fear a 'invasion of the US from these ships to take control of thier oil industry.' I will find you source if you want it.

Becoming buddies w/Iran....doubtful???

Arriving in Rome for a United Nations summit, Mr Ahmadinejad said: "The people of Europe have suffered the most harm from Zionists and today the costs of that falsified regime, whether political or economic, are on Europe's shoulders."

He added: "I do not believe my statements [at the conference] will cause any problems. People love what I say because they are trying to save themselves from the oppression of Zionists."

Mr Ahmadinejad visited both Belarus and New York last year, but this is his first trip to a major European nation. Italy has refused to hold any talks with him, but was powerless to deny him entry because of United Nations rules regarding the summit.

Article continuesadvertisement
"In the name of God, I love the Italian people, who are so rich with civilisation and history. Our two people have much shared history," he said.

Hundreds of Roman Jews protested against his presence outside the Colosseum.

Around 40 heads-of-state attended the first day of the Food Summit in Rome and Mr Ahmadinejad was due to be given the opportunity to address them and to hold a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Robert Mugabe, the president of Zimbabwe, was also due to get the opportunity to make a speech on Tuesday afternoon and could use the opportunity to lambast the West. At a previous UN food summit, in 2005, Mr Mugabe labelled the United States and Britain as "terrorists".

His wife Grace, who, at 42, is half his age, accompanied him to the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organisation where the summit is taking place. Instead of her customary shopping trip, she is expected to attend a lunch inside the building for the wives of the heads of state.

Neither Mr Ahmadinejad or Mr Mugabe have been invited to a banquet this evening at Villa Madama for the other heads of state. The dinner is being hosted by Silvio Berlusconi and Ban Ki Moon, the secretary general of the UN. To avoid the embarrassment of not gaining entry, Mr Ahmadinejad will leave Rome this afternoon.

As the summit kicked off, the head of the United Nations called for farming to increase by 50 per cent by 2030. Jacques Diouf, the head of the FAO, warned leaders that the amount of money spent on food aid for the third world had more than halved in real terms from £4 billion in 1980 to £1.7 billion in 2004.

"Resources to finance agricultural programmes in developing countries are decreasing, not rising," he said. He said his attempt to draw attention to the problem last December, and to ask for £800 million in grants for fertilizer and seed in the third world, had been ignored.

He also criticised the emphasis placed by Western countries on global warming but the lack of attention to food. "Nobody understands how a carbon market of $64 billion can be created in developed countries to offset global warming, but that no funds can be found to prevent the annual deforestation of 13 million hectares.

"Nobody understands how $11 billion to $12 billion a year subsidies in 2006 have had the effect of diverting 100 million tonnes of cereals from human consumption, mostly to satisfy a thirst for fuel for vehicles," he said.

He called for the world to find £15 billion a year to give 862 million hungry people the right to food.

Buddies with the iranian regim? No way!!!!!!!

Just making them behave with out killing millions of them or trying to occupy their country as well or that kind of stuff

The regim in Iran.....Really bad news.....you can negotiate them and pressing them with out military threats, but making them our buddies will be a mistake, they are not Buddies of any free nations any way I am sure. I am just talking a bout iranian regim and not the people.

Here are four sources of the Myanmar fears of a US Invasion.

diggs.com/world_news?Myanmar_Refuses_Aid_Delivered_by_US_Military_Fears

I learned of this a few days ago. Been putting pieces together on it ever since. Just learned the they diverted a US relief convoy about 1 hour ago because they cannot dock.

Opal, I will be happy to discuss and debate Afhganistan and APAC with you. But for right now, can we keep this focused on Myamar and how this Military Junta is hijacking the far left's GWB war for oil theories? Fair enough?

Remember I said 'oil producing'...APAC is a oil pipeline project, if I remember it correctly.
