Its all just so many assumptions Ship, even with lots of people we know in real life - they assume and many never take the time to actually get affirmations - and even if they do ask, the questions are slewed in favour of affirming their assumptions........

i agree with this ,myself i try not to flirt too much incase i tread on toes ,i try not to show any anger in the fear of being bashed (and yes its happened) most of what you see with me is what you get but i will put my hand up and say honestly that yes i mute my emotions due to others .

We can only truly know ourselves. Other people only see aspects of us based on their perception and experience and what we show or tell them, and since we are all self-serving, that will be different things to different people in different sets of circumstances. I think that it is human nature not to fully speak your mind as you dont

If your having a bad day Its OK to express it . Its just not right to make others feel bad because you do.
I see nothing wrong with being a butt hole, to me you would be protecting yourself for whatever your reasons. I also believe that even the butt holes have a nice person inside somewhere they just dont want anybody to see it.

This "EXACT" thought has been rolling around in my devious little mind for 2 or 3 days. I am planning a thread about "ME", any bets on how many have the courage to do the same?

Yeah.. people think I'm always happy and jolly.. (same with the people in my RL) But I'm not.. I have plenty of bad days where I'm in a crappy/low mood and I can barely see the light at the end of the tunnel..
I try to not let it show when things are bothering me.. but that is exactly the same as I do in RL anyway.. (my marriage taught me that)
Keeping 'chipper' keeps me 'Floating' as opposed to sinking on a bad day.. Whack on a smile, and talk my way out of it.
I am probably a little 'cooler' in RL.. because (like my Zodiac thing says).. I do pretend that nothing bothers me or fazes me.. (self protection - which I still cant shake off)
But tbh.. I'm probably often the MOST bothered.. I just won't show it.. Just like you Ship..
I letvery few people see how much something upsets/bothers me. (same in RL) I just get very very quiet. It takes a lot for me to step forward and cross the line. (despite how it may appear) haha.
I do think I present a realistic view of myself.. but I also know there is a lot I don't say, because I can't bear confrontation and bad feeling.
But that too, is just the same as I am in RL.
