Ive noticed when looking at guys profiles that quite a few of you still prefer to go for nobody older than themselves and in some cases up to maybe 5 or so yrs younger - whats this about? My own preference is sort of the same age give or take maybe 5 yrs or so - Im not into the toy boy thing but am just trying to understand this attitude of 'definitely not older' dunno

Same here..

Also.. it something that small that will stop me in my tracks on a profile.. It really puts me off if for example their age says.. 45.. and the age they want.. is 25- 40..

that's all i need to know right there.. laugh

I don't place any limits based on age or image. I'm rather comfortable as friends with older women, and they all LOVE me. grin

My limits come from a romantic standpoint. I've not the life-exerience to relate to the things women older than about ten years refer to...

Haight-Ashbury=before my time.
Kennedy assassination=before my time.
Woodstock=before my time.
Ed Sullivan Show=cancelled before I was cognitive...

You get the pic. I'm not unhappy learning about these things from an older woman. It's just, I don't get the cultural refs. they often make, and its the same for someone extremely younger than me. I say something about Welcome Back Kotter and they're like, "Who?"

sigh mumbling doh

I think many men don't want a woman that remind them of their ex wife etc. Aesthetics are more important to them too so a young body is preferable to a sagging one. Sometimes younger women are more malliable and less challenging than older ones in a man's thinking.

Just possibilities.........
