There is so much Pain and so little of Joy in what you are saying in this poem. Remember, you wrote once:
"If my world were to end today, I would like to have given you a call. I would love to have given you a hug and kiss To tell you how much I love you."
I don't even know why I went back to this stanza ... maybe because of its spirit being closer to my heart. Separation is the worst thing that can ever happen to us. Better days will be coming, cheer up.

Hello, Friend. I have to write you here. I had been trying to get in touch with you since December. Thank you for the christmas greetings you sent. I was trying to send you a card but my computer is reading so slow...took me hours til it was cut off. I have been traveling lately. I miss everyone here. I just dropped by to read your poems. I will keep in touch.

Friend, your poem aptly describes the feelings I have for my estranged husband whom I just met in the mall with his girlfriend---her arm around him, but he was evading me. However, I feel disconnected "even to words that bind".
when one becomes caught up in the cycle....they are not free to awaken to the truth. your poem is thought provoking and has made me realize a connection i didn't perceive before....thanks my friend. blessings to you
