come upon a desire, call it a need to cross the space and press upon the opportunity, the calling before desperation appears on sighted faces now is the time to act might signs say warning, caution but there's no time, no time now is the time to act before the crying shouts not clear the anguished waves of arms seen from across the way need is apparent...now forward first one step quickly another
above the mind registers what the feet feel directly, the cold, the wet touch
and sense comprehends the deep misconstrual taken for granted as sand and grayed lime surround the legs, and reality surrounds the brain that abruptly realizes the waves of one's distant were warnings of danger, not cries of aid cementing concrete realization
that will soon immobilize the fallacious mind that knows too little of intent
hmm...reads of human nature. what? options are limited? don't think twice, it's alright....Dave, what are you doing? later, I'll read the comments and understand more. meanwhile, I'll just graze in the grass...

Hi Dave
I got the sense reading this that you were rescuing someone from the debris of a tsunami...
Certainly you seemed to be responding to the plaintive cries of someone in serious trouble.
