sweat drippin' daughters of Zeus
feel the flush, feel the rush
as imagination meets creation

oh so alive! so alive! oh...man!
conjure, presto, see the candle
light from thin of air luminary
this thing made of thoughtful idea

now you can gaze standing there
figuring out what just happened
what it means...to you, for all
the ego supplanted with elation

whether clay or oiled pigment
bronzed metal, or quartzed glass
possibly some a cappella lyric
or a tearful soliloquy

whatever came, it came from
you who birthed this beauty
to inebriate the world's
eyes and ears with poignancy
