Words

Twisting, turning, squirming, yearning
Why can't they let me be
Cluttering, muttering, clanging and banging
What have they done to me

Over and over they run around
Dancing their little twirl
Put me this way, no, no, that way
Their song goes on and on

They jump around to tantalise
Here I look much better
Turn me round, now add this one
Is this the way you want us

So when they start to get too loud
I put my pen to paper
Write them down just like they sound
And get some peace till later

Steve, this is quite an appropriate poem for so many of us!!! Usually I have no paper on hand like Redex and others when I need to write something down and I always resort to my 'palm pad'.... problem with that is, I'm constantly being asked by people..... is that a tattoo on your palm? (And, I HATE eating a sandwich that has white bread tinted with blue or black ink!) uh oh Great contribution to the show case of poets corner! Thanks for sharing!!

The noisy words end up on strange places sometimes Steve...like the side of a case of beer or a chunk of drywall....lol.
thumbs up cool cheers
