Love Eternal (Part I & II

Love Eternal I

My heart like a gloomy room
Shuttered, musty, locked up tight
Pain wrapped like winter's mantle
Cold, frozen, Arctic night
Hope there was, you saw to that
Your smile cracked icy barriers
Brought the sunlight flooding back
And there springs hope eternal

Love Eternal II

I looked in your eyes
And I saw your soul
As pure and white as snow
My dreams, my hopes
My love for you
Reflected back from there
My heart I freely offer you
My soul is yours to take
Together we shall be as one
Through Love's eternity

Very reassuring ... inspirational is the right word when referring to this poem. Never letting go ... hope eternal ... the eyes of the beloved telling so much ... your whole life ... what was and what is to come ... "Through Love's eternity" we can walk in perfect bliss! Thank you for sharing the poem! handshake
