GNJ, a truly lush verse of all the beautiful flora and fauna put forth by Mother Nature and Father Time. Worthy of any celebration today! Are there any blueberries left?... ;-)

Hi, country_lady67, agoodguy2have, niah9, Poetnumber1, Redex, Fellsman, hedistuff, Odette67, and andrew149, Yesterday was my birthday and I wrote this in celebration of another year between winters! Your comments were lovely gifts and I thank each of you for yours!!! I am so happy that you shared not only in my celebration but also share in my love of this amazing world! Sharing this Poet's-Corner part of the world with each of you is its own gift. Let there be cake - or blueberry pie - or both!!!
Really enjoyed this poem, felt that I was there, loved the way you describe every little detail, I can almost see the blueberries with dew on them just waiting for the picking
Hi, sindellyse, While my poem celebrated being alive in this marvelous world, your reader's eye saw "blueberries with dew...waiting for the picking". A very poetic comment. Thank you. Hi, Redex, Thank you for the kind birthday wishes!
