Full Moon

Strange things happen by light of full moon
But I don't really believe them
People go mad and murder commit
Yeah right, I bet the fairies go dancing

Vampires bold the night do prowl
Looking for some virgins
This day and age I wish them luck
They'll probably die of starvation

Ghosts are haunting houses of old
Roaming dark hallways
Rattle their chains and moan a while
But nobody pays attention

It's time to go, my fur has grown
And at the moon I'm howling
Overcome by lust for blood
I'd better start my hunting

Well there are so many forms of poems about the moon, but here on CS, I usually expect association with romance or nature...., but werewolves and the like....rattling chains by spirits that moan in July not October.....does bring in the changes Steve....happy hunting...Niahpeace help

We look forward to hearing about results after hunting is over. In our times vampires can never be sure about success, but with luck on their side they can hope for some fresh blood that nourishes poets' talent. As to their competitor ghosts I am pretty confident they are outsiders with no chances to scare people out of wits, but it may be the other way round, who knows, they may be coming into fashion again. Please keep us informed. This one was humorous, I agree, and well crafted into the bargain. Thank you. handshake
