Time keeps ticking, moving on Onwards slowly marching Only now I know too late Love is broken, fleeing And hiding in dark of night There is no forgiveness Even when on bended knee Forgotten is but not forgiven Only then do we really see Running fast and running scared Flames burn ever brighter Orange sparks fly in the sky Roses that bloom by light of moon Gone are lover's promises In time all is forgotten Visions come to those who seek Evening abounds in melody None are wise only blind Erudition may give the answer Stillness throughout the night Silently last breath drawn
