Substitued some ingredients along the way
Next time I'll go to the restaurant and pay

Made it for the first time don't you know
But we do reap that which we do sow
Got too creative trying to save some dough
Thus my son and I almost came to blows

I think he thought I was out to poisin him
So if you should cook something on a whim
Perhaps follow the recipe so as not to seem dim
The chances of him trying anything else are slim
