on my chest...

the down days....they're not coming. they're here. at my house, in my living room....but moreso, in my heart and mind. oh blah, my wife's oldest kid is hangin' on by a thread. she's eat up with cancer...only age 32. Lyn and Jimmy are in Jersey now. flew up today. no telling when they'll return. my oldest daughter Amy, a junior in college, has fallen in love. sounds good, easy to dance to, but counts as a big minus 12 in her ability to stay on task. she's age 20. a lot of socializing going on there. too easy to shuck a lifetime of earnest effort when one's heart is all atizzy...me, no surprise...a lifetime of bachannalia and neglect is soon visited by the fruits of such non-labor...my baby, my wife, has a hellacious ulcer carving her so many ways. she can't really ingest much...of anything. but.....but...here's the good things. there is a slim chance that Lyn's daughter may recover. my child may surprise me and rise up, overcome, and succeed in her efforts in academia. I'm on new medications and thanks to my new physician, I seem to be on something of a mend...a surprise improvement. I don't feel awful any longer. last, but far from least, Lyn knows the path that she must follow and has the skills and gumption to produce and actually follow her diet. in time, she'll improve. so...all things considered, we've got it made! time heals all wounds and as they say...'it's all good'... they are right!

Hi, hedistuff,
hangin' on by a thread...we live, we hope, we love. Sometimes a thread is enough. May it be so. Let the healing begin, we pray.

Hang in there bro..You're the man..thumbs up The Lord promised that his word would not return to him in vain..Meaning the good word in your heart which is born of love and good-will will become fruit for true healing and inner peace. wine angel

Hi Rick

I did not even see this post when it was put on the poetry board some 10 days ago, you know that there have been occasions when posts have disappeared at breakneck speed ending up on page 3 or 4 in a matter of hours.

That is by-the-by... I write now to offer my sincere condolences for your sad loss. My thoughts are with you.

Sincerely

Bill
