Love to Share

Freedom some say is something to fight for
Was that before or after the war’s won
So each generation will fight this war
Always finishing what was left undone

Scarce the peace ‘till another battle fought
Does dust ever settle on warring tribes
Pouring lead down barrels of guns have brought
Only nation’s wealth paying off the bribes

One life to live, another give away
Really amount to anything that much
For in the end we go our merry way
And only the past becomes out of touch

What matters most in life is love we share
And showing each other how much we care

I appreciate the value of this piece and I believe one day maybe not in this life time but one day. For now the only ones to see the ends are those that have already left…Good stuff my friend…Jessehandshake
