it was gee up the hairdresser an actor working in a mainly black boutique that was the other key factor now a fine looking black man enters the store and its quite busy the shops no bore there are ladies present and even kids but she didnt hold back or hit the skids she was playing the charm on the good looking dude when in walks his girlfriend she begins to be rude for his girlfriend is a lovely shade of white the hairdresser cant believe things aren't right her lips are loose as she rambles on about black and white whats right and wrong now about this time a lady nearby a beautiful black woman with an exhausted sigh breaks her silence and tells the hairdresser straight where you coming from you have no reason to berate this lovely white girl is a woman to her mate and the words you've been speaking i just can't relate so when the set up is exposed and the film crew come out the lady nearby says its the Brooklyn in me Thats what i am about .......

About this poem:
this was done with a few different occasions and each time a black person within the salon spoke up against the black hairdresser......and their thoughts behind it all were they were passionate about moving forward and sharing the love ....not hate......and to also speak up if things don't feel right..........This is awesome
Hi, Nuwahri61, ...breaks her silence… Each voice heard on the side of Love is one less voice on the side of mistrust and hate. Thanks for sharing Colour........a hairdresser's nightmare and its poetic voice with us.

lol this is a very truth full poem. Most styling salons are full of banter. In fact if you want to know who is who and what is what a beauty shop is the best place to go lol...I have been a hair stylist for over 25yrs and it still amazes me how much gossip, lies, back stabbing goes on in those places.
