The Rivers Of My Tears

Rivers of My Tears

Author: windyweatherly

Rivers of tears running
On the faded wool
Clutched on my shivering
Pale body, weakening
Ingrained with a malady
With no cure
Yet the reassuring hope
And lovely thought
Of your serene childhood
While's yet refuses to part
On the body that turns to dust
Like twisted limbs of your memories
Trying to reach and remold
The foundation of your youth
And as the counsel is cast
Upon the shores of eternity
While the fortress of your will
Is fading into oblivion
The anguish of DEATH escapes
One more time as you
Witness the birth of a new morn
If only to breath one more day..

About this poem:
I have never felt so close to my destiny and as the battle scores me away, I will not go without a fight.

About this poem:
I originally posted this on the very minute the three specialist confirmed that I have at most 90 days to live..Imagine how I felt.

I am so feeling the same but very alive. I can only thank the one closest to my heart who helped me go through and all your prayers. Most of my friends who knew after that.

Thank you again for your read.

Liam thanks my friend and I know just how much you relate to this. Yet it does make us so strong and value every second of our life after that.

Thanks Ken, yes you can say that. When I was so helpless and love found me, I kind of like asked one last moment to borrow more time and yes I thought THE BEGINNING OF 28 YEARS OF FOREVER..But whatever given me, I do appreciate and I kiss ever the tiny rock that is on the ground...if only to give reverence to whom have granted my wish.

Thanks as always...

I am speechless!...
"The anguish of DEATH escapes
One more time as you
Witness the birth of a new morn
If only to breath one more day.."
I do not even recall Edgar Allen Poe, my favorite poet,
express himself of such Darkness with more Illuminating Eloquence! "Wonderful, Wonderful Poem"!

Joy, yes I remember so much how you made me cry on your first comment. You highlighted and reinforced my not giving up.

Thanks so much and I know you prayed for me, too. Take care
