The Return

After The Fall
both
could no longer
deny their desires
even as they
faced life without
God in the garden -
hiding their sexuality
instead of
just being.
Knowledge made them more responsible for
life
making
nothing
out of something
proved their challenge.
Quietly
resigned to their
sin,
they
uttered names with
voices pure
while
‘xtreme isolation and
yearnings
zoomed in on them.

Dear Massachussetts, the phrase:

"Knowledge made them more responsible for
life
making
nothing
out of something
proved their challenge"

stirred me to action to continue to 'create my reality', thank you!

"Quietly resigned to their sin," poetry, pure poetry, what talent, sigh... and thank you...

P.S. Loved learning the ABC word, and if you're implying you're that, well, maybe, if you measure yourself against Infinity, but against 'mr/mrs avarage'? Hell, no way, you're wayyyyyy up there...

Hi, Earlgreytea,
Although as a child I would write the initials of a boy's name down the page and write a line for each one, I never knew that "abecedarian" was the name for that type of verse. I am pleased that you like my first A - Z and deeply appreciate your generous comments.
