Red Hat

Take off your red hat
shake off those shoes
we both know that
there's nothing left to lose

If I should tell you
while we swing and sway
I feel forever new
my blues just gone away

Meet me by the river
in the evening sun
there'll be time to quiver
before the day is done

And before its midnight
you'll promise not to go
and I'll know its just right
when we tie that bow

Take off your red hat
shake off those shoes
we both know that
there's nothing left to lose

This work starts off like Tom Jones' song, "You Can Leave Your Hat On" and one can feel it mind, body and soul. It ends much like a Blues song. . wine cowboy

I met a girl on the East Dubuque bridge on the Mississippi River in 1988. It was fun for about a month or so, then she dumped me, luckily for her she still had two other boyfriends to keep her company.daydream dance
