RE: Arguments
I remember a time when in our local state legislature, members would argue and disagree politics all day long; then they would all get together for a nice supper and drinks in the evening still friends. I long back to the day for more civility and respect. It is badly needed!!

Socrates, I also remember those days spanning back over a decade now. I remember how constructive and helpful some of the comments (and also critiques!!) were shared by other members and I learned in the process how to become a better poet. Turn on the first light switch and leave it on for a little while then turn it off. Turn on the next light switch and open the door. Now go into the room and briefly feel all three light bulbs; the warm one is the first switch,, the one that is still on is obviously the second light switch and the cold light bulb is the last switch that you didn't touch.

Socrates, Yes it is so. I'm still working a most physically taxing job and suffer the consequences if I don't heed your important advise. Growing older presents some physical limitations we never needed to be too concerned about before. Thanks for your insights.

I have moved a lot in my life so i have plenty of friends i now call passing ships (even though nice ships)

I can tell simply by asking Google
Switch on switches 1 & 2, wait a moment and switch off number 2. Enter the room. Whichever bulb is on is wired to switch 1, whichever is off and hot is wired to switch number 2, and the third is wired to switch 3

Dating and searching can be very frustrating but as you title your poem "Patient" is the way to go. Never be desperate for love...fill yourself first with self-care and love..then you surely will be ready to find your love. Nice write SM

For me, friendship is a meaningful thing to have. Is not how many you have but how many REAL friendships you have in the high and low. Sometimes misunderstandings come up and being there for each other for a long time, then the unthinkable happens and it is lost.
