EXRED3......yes, poetry does bring inner peace to me as I know it has done for many poets here over the years.
After a summer of so much rain here in Aotearoa, we have erratic weather patterns continuing, making it difficult to remain confident with the usual seasons....roads are gradually opening again, but some in isolated areas will never be the same...Nature rules for sure.....

Thank you Mcradloff...for your comment......those who live by water at one time sort after, these days need to consider all aspects, though I find water scenes relaxing, maybe because I was born on the banks of the Thames, 10 miles down river from Tower Bridge...Kathy NZ

Sorry, you are by yourself again but still maintain a friendship.
I also found someone here in 2009 and made a big move to Ohio. Unfortunately, I would say he was not ready, it lasted for a short period, and after our breakup, we maintained a friendship. He passed away last year. I still maintain a connection to his family.
Now being single is not a problem for me. I enjoy my life as it is. SM

Socrates, aging will come to pass. We just have to make the best of it. Taking care of ourselves to limit its consequences. If we reach old age, it's a blessing, mostly if we maintain a clear mind. The oldest lives ever lived in ages 117, 119, and 122 and numbers keep blooming...Thanks for sharing. SM

I live about 20 miles from the Mississippi River which is the largest river in the United States, lots of flooding right now along it.
