7/13/20 Just saying...
This was written in 2006. It is a parody of Budweiser's real men of courage. There are a bunch of different ones. One of my favorites is the Taco Salad. It's a salad isn't it.
Witnessed this incident yesterday where guilt was written all over a girl's face as she was confronted of something wrong she's done. Made me think why humans tend to find it easier to justify the action or become defensive instead of accepting and apologising. The good thing is in this case the young girl has a healthy conscience, guilt made her do the right thing in the end...adults are not that much different.
“…the peace that transcendeth all understanding…” the bible Stop and think for a moment, what do all of us desire most? “…peace of mind…” All other needs are like a pyrrhic victory, sans a settled mind, Most of us spend volumes of hours tinker
Over there our soldiers are putting their lives on the line and dying to keep our country protected, safe and free while deranged gunman shoots at all in sight killing six and wounding ten plus others three judge and nine-year-old girl inc
One planet for us all...lets all save it!!
Truth does not need dressing up In glamour and shiny gloss With razzle-dazzle, bright lights Served dipped in fragrant sauce Truth is simple, plain, and direct Naked, complete and raw Cuts through all the bull-shit Like a diamond-bladed saw
About this poem: Inspired by a blog about poverty from Africa, and all over the world that is suffering with poverty and hunger. Thanks all for your read and comments.
Hey, i am just having some fun...

Do we pass by like strangers within a field that could connect us where empathy still trys to touch the blind where common sense hangs by a thread on a damaged bridge that spans the cracks between us
It is when we allow the broken voices that whisper inside our head to grow twisted roots under our thin skin of common sense that slowly strangles our sense of pride of being what we try to hide forever chained behind a mask
True story!
Engineers of our despair The common man, They don't care Joe the Plumber Couldn't be dumber Than to listen To useless media chatter, While rich bankers Just get fatter. Rich, they are, And avaricious Cannibals who think Pain is deli
i don't agree with every system. however i believe that different systems give the world its checks and balance. also the only perfect system is a divine one.
Said that suit stood on shoes To lessen your fears To brighten your views. While a podium he rides Throwing words on the wind. Don't you know who I am Shoehold gripping the door As a flexible wall Moments him in check. Key to the city
The threat is gone no longer do we see crude cresting on waves washing ashore killing dreams. The threat is gone toxins unknown dispersed into water’s moving force cleansing itself anew, nature’s balance caught in the middl
THAT WAS A LOVE POEM
A bit of a re-write and an old favourite poem of mine...
That crazy time before and after going to work.
More are forgotten, less are remembered, rejection is organized hate from a bitter dry well with flogged thoughts strapped in darkness with anger so deeply rooted and so cold. All is frozen in time embodied in fear, intimidated by prosperity, lost d
Just a message about some people we are who we are but others take it to a different level.
The frustration of losing things. I had this happen with my watch a few weeks ago.
So the people shouted when [the priests] blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, e
What my eye's do not want to see, Anguishes me, to this harsh society. As I look to the majestic sky, I see Darkness & destruction, in it's light. How can one be truly happy? As we embark on this "so called" Journey..... Selfishly!!!
Following thirty years of power building, rife with billions taken from the people, land and life Soles now upturned facing toward heaven’s light LEAVE spelling out dis- respect through all the strife A nation’s self-portrait Tahrir Squa
Does honesty and common sense still survive in the crevices and burrows in the concrete jungles where animals are dressed as human where it is the wolves who are kings and the lion is just a flea bitten scabby old cat
for the sliant tears of breaking hearts written for the woman and children whos only wish is to be simply loved
A sad fact is that the homeless and destitute in our society might as well be ghosts. They are mostly ignored and overlooked as if they did not exist.
Freedom's struggle is one faced by every human being living on the planet earth today. It happens every single day in all our lives. True freedom is not caving into the pressure of public opinion, but standing tall and making your own decisions. In most of today's world public opinion is formed without any real knowledge or analysis of the facts of the issues....that's sad...."so don't believe everything you hear"....could never be more true. Take a stand against tyranny everywhere
Just some random quotes I have heard and added to others.
The rich may lose alittle but they will still be rich the poor will lose nothing for they will still be poor but for you who call your self middle class it shall be you we will meet on the streets and in the parks with y
Poverty is shackled human spirits burdened with ignorance with no relation to power or mission. Its mucky existence can be repeated from generation to generation with premission to be re-birthed. Carefully crafted adjustments in education and real
THERE ARE TOO MANY 2 LEGGED RATS WALKING ABOUT!MY BIGGEST WISH WOULD BE TO PUNISH THEM BEFORE THEY HURT ANYONE ELSE!
Seem a little closer to the reality we have here than the original writing.
Some of the lies are really pretty funny, if you look at it like a standup routine, and not the truth.
Seven-billion mark by Halloween; by 2050, estimated at three billion more. Contemplate: what is our planet to do? Will there be enough resources for me – not to mention, what about for you? Environmental damages, already great from various ag

We are being played for suckers in this country to think that your vote makes a difference if you vote for democrat or republican. I only voted third party twice, I'm thinking I need to do it again.
I just got done watching 2016. I also read the book about Barack Obama. It reminds me of the George Carlin quote, "All the evil in the world, all the evil in the world is the result of what fathers do to their sons."
I was reading a post on what money can't buy you. Manners, morals, respect, character, common sense, trust, patience, class, integrity, and love. I know from personal experience that the lack of money can make life pretty aweful. Money may not be able to buy happiness, but it sure can rent it!
