A poem I wrote on Mothers Day this year...I had this idea on that day about organising a project (obviously it will have to be for next year hopefully) where we can adopt a mom for a day .. I know for sure there are moms or wives who don't get fussed about let alone remembered on Mother's Day ... hence the poem ;-)

Where Old Men Sit Did you see that youth who passed you by even though his pace was true and fast, Did you watch him from your ancient eye knowing his speed would never last? Did you as a teenager show the same grit when you played a young
Bright light blazing me over room so warm and alive thirst I ne’er felt before waking - did I survive? I only remember for sure your promise to revive. Whose hand trembling more than I could ever contrive? Staff buzz around the floor hungry
Took this long to get to the point where I could write this.
I got lucky enough to see Vicki Lawrence in concert on November 5. She did half the show as herself and the other half as Mama Harper from the TV show Mama's Family. She said it was the first time she forgot to wear her glasses. I spent ten dollars the first time because the woman told me all the seat were sold out. Finding out later that she was confused and there were plenty of seats, I had to purchase two more tickets for 70 bucks and give the standing tickets to a friend of mine. At least I got three other people I knew to see her.
What can I say... The joy is inexplicable... at least for a while, lol!

Ithought of this poem after having some unkind words with my sister. lol
This short poem is about my son. He is my greatest joy.
This peom is about a mother who chooses to keep her baby and fight against all odds to do so though she could have given the child to its paternal grandparents only the wanted the child not the mother or her presence.
My grandaughter. A heart the size of Texas in the smallest package.
I was having one of thoses days and we all have them. I take care of my mom and I love her but her health is is getting worst. To watch her suffer sometimes it make me feel like well ,,, like my clothes are just not right but they really are,, it just me. Have anyone else felt this way?
I was getting frustrated by the lack of manners of those around me.
