Big man from Little Havana's got smoke in his eyes Looks cute in his sharkskin suit and his four-in-hand The bay girls, they don't sing the song, they just harmonize It's all we can do, to make them understand Me and you We could copyright the
I felt LOVE that is why I wrote this Poem just now.

Just an "authentic" blues number in the Key of E

I would hope that people would put politics aside and pray for the safety and the safe return of all the military personal, from every country who has commited troops to the various conflicts around the globe. Our American military personal are all volunteers.I don't know of anyone who is "for" war,but the men and woman who serve do so willingly and are following orders.God Bless them ALL.
A shared team purpose transcends the team's individual members.
This song is about taking "the journey".If you have then "you know". If you haven't then you'll never understand.
When we met our first love something like that going to happen
For that special one
I can't believe what I am seeing Ego burned into my eyes You say that love is in the making All I hear is a bevy of lies A twist of shadows hidden in truth A host of apathy as your proof Bring me to the slaughter house I've begged you so many
Sometimes no matter how hard we try, forgetting that certain someone is easier said than done.
I wrote this song in 2007, a few months after my Mom passed away from cancer.I always let the melody of what i'm playing and the emotion I feel from it lead me into the song that i'm writing.I hardly ever write lyrics down and 95% of what I write just flows out of me.For this song I tried to imagine how my Dad felt after losing his wife and best friend of 36 years.
This song is dedicated to the men and women of our armed forces who have served in times of war past and present. To the POW's and those still MIA.To those who made the ultimate sacrifice with their lives. And to their families who wait and pray for their return.

Lost Love Can Haunt Us All.
She wakes up every morning with a smile,oh how she wears her mask so well. She'll tell me stories about her life, but their are some she never will tell. She drinks a cup of coffee and stares out the window, tells me how she came here at sixteen. Sh
Sometimes love can feel heavenly
This is a song I wrote about a woman who I am no longer in a physical relationship with, but who was my lover and is now my best friend. We were living a very risky life together and drug addiction tore us apart. Our love for one another wasn't enough to fight off addiction,so I made the descision to part in order to survive. We went our seperate ways and both of us have cleaned up(this july I will be clean 6 years)In our seperation we remained friends and part of one anothers support group. It's easy to turn away from a bad relationship and start over with someone new,but I have learned what the true meaning of unconditional love really is.It means loving someone enough to let them go and as cliched as that sounds it is true. This song is about knowing that you still have a connection, that the love is still there even though your seperated by miles and circumstances.

Yet another stinkin' lost love song. This one about my troubled ex-fiance' in Georgia, who's 3-year old had been murdered by her previous husband, who also happened to be chief of police. Long story short, I held on the best I could, but she eventually took her own life in order to be with her daughter. I never wrote about that one, some things just don't lend themselves to words.
OK here it is, the first, the very first song that I ever wrote. It doesn't seem like it, (because of the lyrics) but I was all of 16 years old.
Don't really know what year it was, but it could have been 1924, and it rhymed... :D
Blatant, unabashed patriotism. Not stylish, I know, but it's how I feel. Got nothin' against other countries, have visited a few and hope to visit a lot more, but this will always be MY country.
i don't know where it came from
Chorus from the John Prine song, "Living in the Future" "We are living in the future I'll tell you how I know I read it in the paper Fifteen years ago We're all driving rocket ships And talking with our minds And wearing turquoise jewelry A
The words to a song i wrote a year ago. Its one of my favourite songs written by me and i always love to play it on piano. Very simple haunting melody with no chorus or bridge but i like it that way so i left it. If anyone wants to hear the musical version with me playing piano let me know.
I haven't found the woman to who this poem is dedicated yet. I wrote it while watching two young lovers stroll hand in hand across a park one day.
This is a country song I wrote and posted a loooonnnng time ago, before people started really commenting on my poems. Just thought I'd dust it off and throw it out there to see what people think of it. Written........................ on the side of the road.

Unabashed C&W :D
Hope springs eternal...
12-bar blues...
was writen sometime ago, i guess i use poetry, music as a key to my soul, it was the worse time of my life, We have all been there loved and lost, it is better to have loved, embraced love than not at all, because without feelings, emotion, passion, whats life really about, and what is ones purpose, I believe there is somebody out there for each and everyone, who deserves respect, but most of all deserves to be loved...................................
