Do Not Weep

Do not weep when I have gone
Whistle that tune or sing that song
Hum that melody that we used to play
Look to the clouds on a clear summer’s day

And think of me as you always have done
Remember that I shall forever be my mother’s son
As you pass the old oak that bears our mark
Whistle that tune we first heard from the lark

Gently let the grass hold you within its sway
As the breeze hums that melody we used to play
Where the crickets chime up in a glorious chorus
And you absorb the beauty of the flowering floras

Drift down to the stream where we sat and dreamt
And paddled like children thinking how this was meant
Remember how instantly we both broke out in song
And days were so lazy and nights were not as long

Think of me often as the tears glisten your face
Whistle that tune as you sit at our secret place
And as the tears overcome you in an emotional tide
Look up to the sky and see the swallow glide

And dry those tears you must not weep for me
Remember fondly those days in the old oak tree
And live your life as you know I want you too
Forever I will always be thinking of you

The past

When we look to the past we say
To all my enemies, you will pay

When we look to the past we feel
Never ending rotation, An infinate wheel

A life in the past will only gain
Joy, happiness, veneered with pain

Although my past I cannot change
The future I must re-arrange

Looking back, in total despair
Why did this happen, it is not fair

When we look do the past we think
Forget the past lets raise a drink

We find ourselves again in the wheel
No longer knowing what we feel

Trying to forget
Forgetting to try

To the world we say goodbye

shes waiting for you

she dimmed the lights lit the candles
took a bubble bath curled up in bed
she is thinking of a plan for her man
for love she wants him tonight
looks in his eyes from a picture on the wall
it's 8pm he gets home at 2am
thinking of what she's gonna do
standing at a mirror with a scarf
drapped around her like satin sheet
prancing around with a big smile
wanting to call his work
but its 9pm he'll be home soon
lays back down closes her eyes
get a little sleep for she can't
tosses and turns and opens her eyes
and sees her man standing beside her
but its only 945 she's wondering why
she grabs his hand for he doesn't move
she gives him a hug and goes right through
telephone rings
she turns the other side of the room
telephone rings she picks it up
Hello ma'am is this Molly
this is your husbands work
there's been an accident
he won't be comen home tonight
he's right here she said
turns around looks over her shoulder
for which he has disappeared.
he had fallen and broke his neck
there was nothen we can do.
frozen in place the phone drops
and the candles burn out.

nephews

Just think I love both of my nephews and this will remain true
But how did I know both of them wouldn't even live to c 22
So as I sit here and think of both of them u know
The first one die and his bday wus july 4th
He wus a blessing as I saw him grow
But a man ended his life on sept 24

So as you read this it might make u sad
But I enjoyed them on earth and I'm not even mad
The other nephew was a little strong of course
But it broke my heart cause he got killed on the first nephews bday
Which is. July 4th
So now I'm saying to myself they always had my heart
Then reality hit they died one year apart

This goes to show u life is here and its gone
I loved both of them
Even though god called them home

anything at all - part 1

Blowing, pulling, tugging, beating endlessly upon my brow
Crashing, enveloping, all encompassing, gale force, asphyxiating
..........the beating inside my breast.

Who can sail without the wind? The hull - weather worn
salt air, cold within, stinging, biting, ripping inside my lungs,
fighting, gasping, breathing,
..........extremities going numb.

Burning, turning, rope slicing through well calloused palms,
cursing and bleeding, straining, one more knot among many,
..........this gray and tattered rigging.

The waves come on ceaselessly, as the tides icy water spray
refreezes this deck. Chop and cut, bang, break and bust.
The ice building layer upon layer,
..........must unlock this ship from its slushy moor

Hollow thumping against the docks slow roll of the Ocean
the swaying of the masts, sails hanging sadly, heavy with the fog
increasing, turning steady into rain,
..........incoming downpour racing into the end of night

Darkness settled in, snugly into every nook, every cranny filling it to its bursting point
Burn for only one more night this dwindling supply of that midnight oil
not for nourishment, nor for warmth,
..........only a little light.

I pray, give me something, anything at all to light the way

one year ago

One year ago 28/10/2010
One year ago to this day you passed away
Things have never been the same even to this day
We all have missed you so much and that is true
You was the bond that was holding us together like glue

You was the bond in this family that held us together
The love you had for all of us that will last forever
You came across Nadia and me as a dad we never had
We was so proud of you proud to start calling you dad

When you passed away it tour us apart
But deep down you will always be in our heart
You was there when we needed someone to talk to
You listen to what we had to say which was good of you

We miss you so much so much that is we wish it was a dream
You was the river that had all the we need like a flowing stream
There are things that can’t be explain or can’t be dealt with
But all we can say is this we miss you and we all love you and that’s no myth

Micheal you have been gone one year to this day
Missing you a lot that’s all I can say
Your brought a ray of happiness that is bliss
Seeing you smile and seeing the love you have we will miss

Micheal I am so proud to be your step son
All I can say mike we miss you and love you heaps R.I.P

Loves last moment

Eyes swelling
becoming tearfull
spilling over
tear drops fall.

Words failing
mouths open
unable to speak
emotions choking.

Hands tremble
fingers entwined
clenching the hand
that clings to mine.

doors open
light has entered
darkness closing
hold me im scared.

Angels calling
last breath i cry
door closing
i whisper goodbye.

the weeping Clock..

It's time, I say..
It's written on my face
Every moment I declare
Every second do I trace

When my chimes are ringing
the 11th hour has come
The hour of reckoning is
near
The countdown has begun

What have you done with
your time?
Did you think time could
be bought?
You measured your life
in years
Never gave it a minutes
thought

Now like a fish caught
in a net you've been
counted among the wicked
Because you sold your
soul to evil
To purchase this fateful
ticket

Now the weeping clock
has stopped
But for you it all begins
Your hour of reckoning
has come
To pay for all your sins..

Dream me Dreams

Dream me dreams of sea and sand
Of waves made for surfing
Of sunny skies and cloudless days
And time for relaxing

Dream me dreams of mountain lakes
With water pure as crystal
Cool, clear, taste so sweet
Removed from civilisation

Dream me dreams of autumn nights
With gentle breezes blowing
Leaves dancing over ground
A symphony of rustles

Dream me dreams of snowy peaks
That fall into valleys
Of snow that falls to blanket earth
And trees with white mantle

Dream me dreams of spring in air
With new growth bursting
Birds nesting sing their songs
Life's cycle is renewing

Dream me dreams of warm bed at night
And loving arms around me
Whispered goodnights and I love you
And smiling face to awake me

Dream me dreams of children's voice
Joyous in their playing
Shouts of laughter from the yard
Asking me to join them

Dream me dreams of quiet nights
Around the table sitting
Sharing dreams, goals to come
A happy family gathering

Dream me dreams of new-born's wail
And watch my grandchild sleeping
Soft, round, and so beautiful
My love is overflowing

Dream me dreams of life and love
Now that I am dying
Precious life I leave behind
And all my beloved
