Lyn (the kindness of strangers).

It was two thousand and one - I had moved
House, and hoping for a brand new start.
It was my first night there - and so it proved
An omen there to win a lady's heart.
In the local pub, loneliness was soothed
With a cold beer and conversation's art;-
As it so happened, I soon found a table
To drink with strangers, and so begins this fable.

The first night in a different suburb and
So soon (it seemed) I'd found some company.
I was a stranger in a stranger land -
(The outer Western Suburbs of Sydney).
I write this introduction - you understand -
To set the scene for what comes next (you see).
At this table were a man and a lady -
He's an Irishman, and she a "Gypsy".

A "Gypsy of the heart" is more accurate
And the old Irishman soon wanted leave;
He had his sorrows to drown by drinking late
(And so he asked - and got - this said reprieve).
Therefore, it seemed, that I now had a date -
(Well fact is harder than fiction to believe).
A few more drinks - well that was requisite -
And what followed later was exquisite.

Her name was Lyn, and she was "rough as guts" *
Though strangely elegant (about forty-nine)
To my thirty-three - and was I nuts
To entertain encounters of this kind?
Well I'm not mad, but maybe "nucking futs" **
(And my first night here promised to be fine).
On her arms were faded old tattoos -
Well, I was young, and how could I refuse?

It seemed the feeling (mutual) now came,
And standing out now on the quiet street
I saw her dress (well-tailored) to her frame
And suddenly was overcome with heat.
Well I could see that she now felt the same
I suggested that we both should now retreat
To my house (which was in a row of shanties) -
All I wanted, then, was to rip off her panties.

Which happened soon - I had a makeshift bed-
It was only just a mattress on the floor
With boxes full of clutter by our heads
(Put there earlier the day before).
Well, naturally enough our clothes we shed,
She reclining on her back lets me explore
Her intimacy and nub of womanhood -
Will I go on further? - well yes I should.

She had a lovely body - a size ten -
Though I'm not all that particular at times -
I don't discriminate now - nor did then -
(Most women are beautiful and sublime).
And so we were in bed, and that was when
I thought I was the luckiest man alive.
The more I loved her the more we were wanton
And that night I felt richer than a sultan.

Two more nights there were, and it was bliss;-
Our naked bodies creamy in the moonlight.
And giddy's how I felt when we did kiss;-
Her long blonde hair and face - a lovely sight.
Of course, it is the times like this I miss -
(These memories of sensual delight).
The best I can do is write this tribute:
The "kindness of strangers" - there's no substitute.

"Ode to the Heart of a Soldier"

I am a soldier, my heart bound to this land,
Fighting for life and liberty, with strength in my hand.
Treading upon sands that echo our flag's command,
With every step, my resolve remains unbowed, it will stand.

My faith is my shield, my courage, my sword,
Facing each adversary, fear is never restored.
On this battlefield, where hope is our accord,
Victory will be ours, with the dawn's reward.

Challenging adversity, chest bared in the light,
Love for my country pulses, in every beat it's right.
Echoes of justice resound, cutting through the night,
No force in this world can smother my fight.

I am a soldier, in the constant fervent fray,
My path may be barren, but powerful is my way.
For life, for freedom, my valor does not sway,
My heart, my land, in the victorious array.

Bravery is my anthem, etched in each line of my face,
I march onward, carving freedom's trace.
For each comrade, each soul, each cherished embrace,
I pledge my undying courage, to protect our sacred space.

Through the whispers of the wind, across the desolate dunes,
Rings the song of the soldier, under the silent moon.
In the heart of the warrior, a resonating tune,
An undying symphony of defiance, that can't be overthrown soon.

For each dawn that breaks, each twilight we've withstood,
Lives a testament of valor, of a promise understood.
I am a soldier, in my veins, flows gallant blood,
For the land I adore, for peace, for the greater good.

This is the tale of the soldier, in his glory and strife,
A tale of perseverance, of dedication, of life.
Bound by honor, by love, carved sharp as a knife,
I am a soldier, till the end, in love, in war, in life.

Who are you what do you do
As I scroll through the profiles looking for you
You maybe tender you may be tall
If I don't keep trying I will surely fall

Your hair maybe short it could even be long
If you don't like my look you will pull out your tongue
You could be light you could be heavy
If we hit the bright lights together we can have a beavy.

Don't be shy don't be scared
The good lord has arranged that were romantically paired.
It's only a short poem just to say
When you message me don't forget my names Paul not Jose.

As the World Turns Day After Day

Day After Day as The World turns.
I don't quite know what it is like to be you but.
I'm not that far off to not notice your pain.
Which is something I have learned.
I did try but you far proved you weren't you.
This routine heartbreak could only go so far.
My limits are not to gain nor be intimate again.
No apology will EVER be Taken.
I hope you are shaken as it doesn't take much to notice.
When you beltch out the loud speaker you have spoken.
2 different Divorce announcements has been a blast.
The smoke is clear. That was Great!!! Find another Date

MY FOREVER VALENTINE

its been almost three years since I touched your beautiful face; and life has gone by at such a very slow pace! I long for the day when our eyes will once again meet; and from that moment on; every day spent together; shall be a wonderful treat! have no fear; for I shall always sing your praise; and our lives will never cease; but for right now; dream of me; while you rest in peace! you shall always be; my forever valentine!

Measure of Man

The measure of a man is not in his reputation
Unless it is the man who gives into temptation
Be careful the words you're speaking, what principles you're placing
Cause every single action has a day when you will face it
If you're keeping up with the times than you're already outdated
You think I'm lost in the clouds, but the clouds are where my faith is
For years I've been faithless, but for me that was basic
Dealt a life full of obstacles but I promise you I'll make it
The problem doesn't stress me it's the measures that I'm taking
Bad circumstances strengthen my determination
Don't focus on the money it's a product of my patience
Treasure ain't made of paper but of quality relations
The only guarantee in life is that it ends with you naked
So all of you that build check the ground where you're breaking
If it's possessions that you seek, than you fools are mistaken
True enlightenment is found way back in the making
Patience is a virtue, selected few earn the product
I dedicate my time and submit to the process
Acknowledge if it's fate, ain't nothing that can stop it
So I swim against the current and disregard all the comments
It's an interesting dilemma when all you have is options
I'm too talented to fail, execution's almost flawless
I fell too many times that I learned to be cautious
Risk is neccessity there's no excuse for any losses
Sleep on me now but I prefer you subconcious
It's better if you woke, you can witness the colossus
They'll speak to me for ages or remain in mental cages
The early bird gets the worm, the one sleep gets starvation
A lot of times in life it pays to be couragous
But speak in certain phrases and get no admiration
They'll phase you out in stages, left in isolation
The house is looking spacious but the barn is where you made it
I'm thankful for his patience, God really has arrangements
About to serve him only and never get complacent
If I get too outta placement, remind me of this statement
I owe the man my life, so my life I will pay him

DEAREST DAUGHTER

As your father I should enlighten you about what you'll face out there
'First and Foremost'...this alleged "Gift of Life" doesn't include fair
Don't just listen my daughter... HEAR everything I'm saying to you
more than anything I hope you experience more bliss than blue

One absolution is theirs no getting around having your heart broke
the intense pain induces nausea making you feel "I'd rather croak"
I'm so sorry but 'love' shall be a life challenge most trying
I promise my dearest daughter time will remedy the crying

Heartache is unfortunately bound to linger but you will live
keep fighting even if you feel theirs no fight left to give
My heart falls apart knowing I can't save you from life's pain
learn from every mistake daughter so prudence can be your gain

More times than not counting on another is simply unwise
be reluctant to trust...even "best friends" have disguise
My child you are certain to succeed once out on your own
Crystal NEVER forget you're the greatest joy I have known

Dearest daughter my love for you no scale could possibly measure
I do know when you became my child I got a priceless treasure
When or If I'm needed just know I will always answer your call
until my last breathe.. I'm there if you should ever stumble or fall

(THE) SNOWBALL DERBY

My first Snowball at historic Five Flags Speedway was Two Thousand Nine
I couldn't miss seeing Kyle Busch vie for short tracks most coveted finish line
After witnessing ROWDY win Pensacola's prestigious Derby I became hooked
until no longer able my seat at Americas' most famous half mile is booked

I never thought the drama of 09's Derby could be toppled but I was wrong
pitting with 11 to go cemented 2010's come from behind win for Johanna Long
A Snowball Derby victory has been known to catapult the driver to Nascar fame
why this most worthy of races isn't aired on ESPN is indubitably a shame

The best drivers from near and far flock to Pensacola for their Snowball chance
sadly... each year more than half who attempt fail to qualify for the BIG dance
Nascar greats Wallace, Allison, Waltrip, and others have circled the half mile
sons of greats like John Hunter, Chase, and Steven have won here in style

It's popularity has gotten bigger and bigger every year since my first one
race fans know this tough to tame oval is iconic and second to none
I feel the Derby has significance equal to Nascars Xfinity and Truck races
more seats should mean larger purses which could attract more famous faces

Traveling thousands of miles speaks volumes about the place they're going
what's missed at the Snowball each year is the lack of Nascar drivers showing
When it comes to can't miss races...the Snowball Derby live you've gotta see
many already know... and I'd surmise after your experience you too will agree

Poem for Megan

For seven years I've longed for your love,
That's deep and blue as the ocean's bliss -
As winged she flies - a lonely dove -
Through the storm's eye in search of your kiss;-
No longer I'll watch the empty cove,
And dying waves that beg for a tryst -
For times tide has washed away
Each lonely year and empty day.

Till what we have now - a ghost of the past-
Though it still proves that we can hold
A sweet memory that will always last
Against these years a love untold.
I give the spring flowers a final blast -
To thaw the ice of my heart so cold;-
But the loneliness grows - a velveteen moss -
To patina the years that we both have lost.

Still my soul's tempest will not subside
An hour with you and I'd feel whole again
Loneliness drowns in the ebb of your tide
When love's quick fire burns in my veins; -
From my heart's longing I never can hide-
Though the years apart have bound us like chains;-
Where once we loved with hearts that were true -
Now loves faded rose cannot bloom anew.
