It's Saturday morning the excitement grows,
From the tips of my fingers to the tips of my toes,
Jump out of bed and run down the stair,
Avoiding my mother with the brush for my hair,
Bolt down the cornflakes place the bowl in the sink,
She asks me a question but I've no time to think,
I ask her to hurry she hands me a tin,
That's the admission, the price to get in,
Be it beans or soup or a quarter of tea,
That was the price, that was the fee,
A knock at the door, I know who'll that be,
Oh those were the days my posse and me.
We strolled down the main street with sixshooters in hand,
In our heads, the meanest gang in the land,
We handed over our bounty to a nice man called Joe,
In ye go lads we've got a great show,
The house lights were up, ah but then they went dim,
The stamping of feet, it made such a din,
On came the lone ranger with tonto his mate,
I thought he was magic, I thought he was great,
The cartoons that followed I loved most of all,
Till that's all folks, indeed that was all,
Its now forty years on, my the years they have flown,
Instead of a sixgun I now wield a phone,
Now as the lights dim and I sit in my seat,
I have to stop myself from stamping my feet.

the moon rises in your eyes when you touch my hand i come alive feeling you stand next to me under the light of your porch so we can see let your lips caress upon mine for once in life love has returned to me this time
alone in front of your door we are together forever more hours pass by as a minute would walk away i never should say goodnight was only a lie life without you set me to cry
i still remember your touch through my hair the glance of happiness i could see in your stare when we were together in the day my lips couldnt wait for the light to go away i knew soon we would become a pair still could smell you as if you were my air
alone in front of your door we are together forever more hours pass by as a minute would walk away i never should say goodnight was only a lie life without you set me to cry
the following day would come as i fell asleep without you in my be kept me from the power of love i knew was deep didnt need a clock to help me wake the thought of you was enough to open my eyes for the love of ours to sake rushed over to see you as angel lay my kiss upon you so you can say-you love me-cant you tell
alone in front of your door we are together forever more hours pass by as a minute would walk away i never should say goodnight was only a lie life without you set me to cry
spent the day together alive ran around like bees out of a hive count the hours till the sun would fall take you home and stand on your porch is where i wanted to be after all cant remember the last, wont forget the first the passion you showed is what i thirst
together in front of our door we are together forever more years pass by as days would walked away as you never should say goodbye was only a lie life without you set me to die
every beginning has an end isnt your love i lost yet mine to share you werent the first... wont be the last but there is only one light... your porch was ours at night

About this poem:
Wrote this back when myspace was hot. It was a semi-dedication to an ex and drew from the same inspiration. was not my intention to win her back or sway favor to rekindle what we lost... yet a reminder of a good time.

Long that does last in the late winter’s night
Out on the seas where the stormy wind blows
Desperate are eyes the rigging stays tight
A look of fear in each hands face were froze
Jumping from the surf was a spawny sprite
Flying up around through the sails she shows
Many a sailors how her hands will smite
And succumb to her panic in their throes
Sultry voices moan in monstrous delight
How each of all the souls lost at sea knows
Will the heavy chains of death be their plight
Dragging them down as deep as the sea goes
For last but bravery clings to survive
Begging only fate will ever surmise

How long have you stood
By the way your old beams rest
Clear as is day you’re in distress
How such I cast a disappointing eye
If only I've ever seen you as you now lie
Nor can I recall all your glory days
How rude am I to cast such glances
When long ago you hosted many dances
Whose memories still boast of romances
Still the raddled cats hunt mice in your lofts
The bunnies borough deeply under your sills
The sparrows nesting in your gabled eaves
Everywhere I look I see how life abounds
As the old barn falls into the ground

Welcome to my world . .......
I am but a simple man, a new and creative " Artist " I've found.. Approaching my canvas at last with my very own view... My eyes once distant.. now will gaze upon you. Open your eyes so I can paint your past, your present..... " Your New ".

Wintertime
Wicked wind outside
Staying indoors
Waiting for friendly wings
A glass of wine
Hearts glide
Streams interweaving moors
My caring robin sings
What a joy!
Plain pleasure
Delightful and Divine
Naughty boy!
Unpretentious treasure
Could you be mine?

Rise its a new day
To bask in the heat the sun
Temps high
Radiates it generates
Warmth that ray of sun
Heat envelopes
Wraps the soul warms the body
Comforts are soul
Heat absurbs wheres it gone
Into the body
Heals are soul
The joy of heat
The joy of that tan
We look into the mirror are glow
Are tan the heat aburbed
We lie in the sun
Content the new day has begun

I should clean you more often, so i hear
From the bugs that came out from there, last year.
I should care and tidy, what others don't Got,
I should keep maintaining my fire, so it stays hot.
It should be kept spotless, and not a flaw.
Cause,Under the fridge, is what they saw
Believe me when strangers first arrive,
Their just looking for a puddle, so they can dive.
Come in scrounging for more than a key,
soon enough desperate enough, to drop to their knees,
under the fridge is where they'll Check,
make sure its shiny, not with a single spec.
people like to go around and snoop
Like-wise my dog, in the neighbors chicken coop

Every sunrise starts with a sunset
The sun even shines on the cloudy days you just have to look for it
Look at me as I am not as
I was
Marriage is a two way street that just happens to run in the same direction
A positive attitude equals a positive life
No one is perfect so be yourself
Be the best person that you can be, be yourself

This Christmas, I'll not put up the tree.
I'll not put up the outdoor lights
Put up those
Big bright red bows.
Maybe I'll get out my summer clothes,
Take a trip where
The snow and cold won't find me..
Lie beneath a tall palm tree
Where I can't see,
A single brightly lit Christmas tree..
It'd be just fine with me.
Or think about, how we loved this Season so.
We'd put on those silly Santa hats and bows
Wear them into town,
Make everybody laugh and smile.Hey,
weren't we the happy clowns?
Wish everyone A Merry Christmas,
Everywhere we'd go
And slip on the ice laughing
When we'd both fall in the snow.
Just one short year ago?
Just wish I could
Relive those days again..
But sadly,
Christmas just won't be Christmas,
this year,
Without you.
