MY MAMA MADE ME

Though she is gone
She used to tell me when we were alone
That drugs got no vitamin

Though she is a woman
she raised me to be a man
who can stand and fight on my own
That's why when i was a kid
she used to knock my head
warning me not to smoke weed
otherwise my mind might slide

Though i am now old
I still miss her indeed
sometimes i cry when days are wild
it's a different mood
can't express in words

Though i am still mourning
It's reminding me back to my beginning
When my mother in front of me clapping
while i am learning to talk and walking
and that is why right now am smiling.

SCHOOL DAYS

WE WERE ALL THERE AT ONE TIME! ALWAYS READY FOR SOME GOOD CHATTER; TALKING ABOUT SUBJECTS THAT WOULD NEVER MATTER!THE ATMOSPHERE ON THE BUS SOUNDED LIKE A HEN ROOST! I COULDNT WAIT FOR THE RIDE TO END; SO I COULD GIVE MY EARS, A GOOD BOOST! I REALLY LOVED MY YEARS IN SCHOOL; AND ALWAYS LIVED BY THE GOLDEN RULE! YOUR SCHOOL DAYS ARE REALLY THE BEST YEARS OF ANYONE"S LIFE; WHERE EACH DAY WAS FULL OF CAREFREE TIMES; AND NEVER AN OUNCE OF STRIFE!

A Starry Night

Upon the canvas white, was given to us this night an offering
called A Starry Night.

His story yet untold his name would be van Gogh .

By a Lane Near Aries covered in Autumn Leaves.
Stood the Farmhouses among the trees.

A Peasant Woman stood in a Field of Wheat while Irises
Bloom about her Feet.

He by himself would never know just how far his fame would grow.

How great was the disaster of this colorful master.
He fought for his death as it could not have came faster.

So great was his strife that late one night he cut off his ear with a razor
knife .

They took him away and in a room he would stay to paint
Starry Night just before the break of daylight.

I'm sure he felt there was nothing left so he took a gun
shot himself.

Now while in his brothers arms he laid never again to
witness the day.

He's now found the peace that he couldn't before and left great works of
art that can't be ignored.

Now and again on a starry night you can look at the heavens and
still see his light.

The MOST Valuable one!

SEE,The MOST VALUABLE one for such times as these
Is NOT in "person-worship"
but to The LORD of lords they bend their knees!
Not the one of better looks
Not the one offering better promises only for face-books!
The MOST valuable one is the LOVING one
SHOWING interest & appreciation
taking time to hear, giving of one's person just to BE WITH you!
Every other may not like this one to be following
But the MOST valuable one
treats you like the only one happening!

About this poem:
From the secret place, stirring from wthin, bubbling up by The HOLY SPIRIT,I simply agreed with it! Understanding where the values of people are these last days shows a loss of virtue & integrity;more focus on the fleeting appearance of what seems good & right, just as The LORDGOD said it would be! My feelings at the time was about truly cherishing communicating with one I thought was lost to the rushing world. So in thanksgivings I had to seize it & perhaps another will agree to bring about a readjusting of our atmosphere for a currency exchange( GOD'S WORK for a 2nd Day-Monday!)

Who am I?

I will be Superman for my Lady when she needs me to be!
I will be a Big Teddy Bear for my Lady when she needs me to be!
I will be Dr. Phil for my Lady when she needs me to be!
Who am I?

I am her Prince Charming...

Peace Always

Brittany

Relationships at times have been sporadic
Either a feast or a famine it is true.
In betwixt times I have been nomadic
Without a home (it seems) to go back to.
So best to now write on before I've had it
As I am old and nothing much is new.
The next installment now chapter and verse
Her name? Brittany - and I have had worse.

In Banksia* there is a bordello
(I wish I could tell of maidens in a glade).
Less idyllic here, and its in a hollow
Off Princes Highway on the promenade.
No doubt since then "princes" more have followed
To repeat the bad example I have made.
Well life is lonely for the single man -
Sometimes you have to take just what you can.

To go on - I've said there is a knock shop**
With service that would lay a man down low.
Is it still there? well truly I know not
(All this happened so very long ago).
All types of girls - there have been a lot -
(I tell of the horizontal tango).
Well so it was - that's the reality -
For me no small thing or triviality.

I thus enshrine each circumstance in verse
(Not ev'ry girl I've been with was a whore).
Though maybe half - and maybe it's my curse
(Well its more moral than violence and war
Of which I'll speak not - for it is greatly worse
And something which we rightly should deplore) -
And I had not a partner to justify
This recreation of a single guy.

Her name was Brittany (well I have said that)
And I was twenty nine and fancy free.
(By now you prob'ly think I'm a love rat
Though It's more true I was just lonely).
I saw her in the foyer - there she sat
Half naked there in her lingerie.
In the half darkness where I met her eyes
A soft glance that held for me no lies.

About my age she was - her hair was blonde -
Her skin was white in the soft light aglow
(And some may say that things like this are wrong -
Although it happened many moons ago).
Celestial providence when I was young
Where creamy white her milky skin doth show.
Would fair Dianna*** show so wan her features?
With something fate once contrived to teach us.

XMAS IS SUCH A JOY

TO EVERY YOUNG GIRL AND BOY; NO MATTER WHAT YOUR AGE; ALL OF US COME TOGETHER TO SHARE THE BIRTH OF THE LORD! TO THINK THAT ALL OF OUR SINS THAT WE COULD EVER COMMIT; ARE FORGIVEN BECAUSE OF HIS DEATH; WE ARE CONSTANTLY AMAZED AND HE IS ENDLESSLY PRAISED! THE MOST HIGH LOVES US SO MUCH, AND TO SUCCUMB TO SUCH PAIN, IS BEYOND A MORTALS TOUCH! THANK YOU LORD FOR THE GIFT OF LIFE, WHICH YOU HAVE BESTOWED UPON US; AND THAT IS WHY; XMAS IS SUCH A JOY!

GRANDSON #1

Not since my first child Crystal have I felt this joy
it's incredible being Pop Pop to her baby boy
Each encounter warms my heart with love so real
overwhelming gladness I can't help but feel

Damian loves me the same I can tell
when together.... "All is Well"
He clings and pouts when he must leave
seeing him cry makes me grieve

Concerns about what lies ahead haunts me
I hate to think of the future he'll see
My soul bleeds knowing whats in store for him
the chance it gets better isn't even slim

I pray he's spared the worst of life's pains
on his parade I hope it never rains
Any sadness in him induces welling tears
unlike pop pop I hope he defeats fears

I love my grandson as much as one possibly can
the first time I held him made me his biggest fan

Always My Friend

Always My Friend

Written in Memory of Stacey V. Bell

We were friends before we were together

Who could've predicted that

Our friendship was meant to last forever

We made memories, both good and bad

that Saturday when I heard the news

I suddenly felt alone and sad

We had times that we laughed

We had times that we cried

If I said I'm not going to miss you

That would be a lie

These bittersweet memories

That you and I shared

I will always treasure them

I will ALWAYS care

But, you are in heaven now

I trust in safe arms you have arrived

Still, Nothing can replace

This Friendship I've been deprived

With all my heart, I do sincerely pray

That God is holding your hand, as you find your way....................
